OGM question

Postby X-Marked Maikeru » Tue Dec 05, 2006 12:08 pm

Well, I was at a lan party that my school was hosting and I copied a lot of anime off the lan. I'm not going to be using them yet cuz I am working on other videos too but I would like to know just to know. How would, if there is even a way, to get the video out of ogm so Premier 6 can understand it?

Any help is greatly appreciated

vdubmod should be able to handle ogm streams
you can then save the video as .avi like usual

If you have a converter which can support convert .ogm to other video formats, that maybe more easy. :D

although sometimes I don't do my homework on programs/methods, I'm getting better.
Please do a little looking into the programs that you and others suggest before blindly suggesting programs.

as stated in the other thread, winavi costs money
virtualdubmod doesn't.

It doesn't hurt to say that, in addition to being free, VirtualDubMod does everything that WinAVI does (and what it claims to do on the website but doesn't really accomplish), but at a more customizable level, and has many functions that WinAVI doesn't even pretend to have (like the wonderful integration with AviSynth, for example).
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.
