ok, on this version, now it says that "avs files are not supported"
hmm... was this because I made it in wmm?? or, can I only deinterlace BEFORE I make the vid? lol.

rip the Video from the DVD or Capture it to the file your starting with.
( hopefully that file will be RAW - they are very very large file :( )

next, Enter it into VritalDub and add the DeInterlace-Filter ( its a built-in function
so you don't need to look for a seporate filter ^_^ )

- Now if you want to compress it into a Video that "your Editor" can understand,
VirtualDub will do that for you ( in the filters area ) and press "F7"
and your now-ready to start your Editing with a "clean video section"

------------

I know it seems like a pain to do these first steps, but you'll love the resolts 8-)

Why don't you just download the newest version of the AMVapp?:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... mvapp.html

All of its components are pretty much already known to work together.
