easy to understand (but outdated) guide...I suggest you read this first (just don't download anything in this guide)
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... th_dvd.pdf

once you understand that guide, try this next one (newer, undergoing revision, programs and techniques still pretty good) thhis one is harder to understand imo

not necessarily make other ppl do your work....i already have the intro and secret ending using my improvise method....just find the vid [most likely gunna be low qual vid] on the net....then extract the audio and line it up with you video content that you ripped...and for the trailer opening i just used the passion instrumental straight off the sound track....

Hey, if you don't mind shitty quality audio go right ahead.

if you do a good job and get a decent clip u cant really tell the difference...its like trying to hear the differnce in a mp3 192kbps and mp3 320kbps.....if ur ears are that sharp and picky.....then so be it...

Concerning the KH2 stuff, I was just wondering, since I only skimmed these pages and such, if I got about a gigs worth of files from the KH2 image (9 mpgs in all) but I didn't split the iso or dick around with any pss, just ran extractor on the KH2 image and extracted, DID I GET EVERYTHING?? OR ARE THEY CORRUPTED??

They play fine, and there's nine of them, did everyone else get the same results??? Of course, no sound, but whatever.

Yeah. You did everything right. I'm pretty sure the sound wasn't included with the mpeg-2 files on the dvd so don't worry about that. It's normal. Unfortunately (as you may know), kh2 has a lot more cut scenes than the ones able to be extracted. So you may find yourself rather limited if you plan on working with just those 9 files.

This is why it's much better and hassle free to use FFX2MOV (the extractor made exclusively for FFX). You can download it here.

RIFF Archive

Postby yuriwentz » Wed Jun 28, 2006 10:21 pm

Hi guys,
I'm working with KH2 and get the same problem of you; I couldn't find the sound of the CGs. So, I was looking into the end of the ISO file and I have been fond a RIFF file, it's a audio file, and when I use the MFaudio to convert it's work but the sound look likes a bee box and are too much more accelerated. If you look at the end of this archive you could understand something of music. Take an attention with this and comment. Bye bye. Yuri =)

yes it does.
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.
