Avisynth Scripts in Premiere Pro CS5 x64?

Postby Bauzi » Thu Aug 12, 2010 5:50 am

I would like to use my scripts via Avisynth Plug In, but it doesn't work. I was not able to load an *.avs file into Premiere. It simply didn't let me. I can probably filemount the script and load it afterwards, but that's not what I would prefer.

Is there a working Avisynth PlugIn for Premiere Pro CS5 x64? :uhoh:

Thx in advice

One of the reasons why I stayed with CS4 :p

Would also like to get this confirmed.

Someone posted a plugin here, but I can't seem to find it now.
It requires using the 64-bit of avisynth though, which I would recommend that you stay away from.

So short answer: its possible, but not recommended.

Thank you for the link! However I think that directly importing avs is dead for me. I would lose too many functions and would run into a lot of trouble with the 64bit version.

Yea, it's a pain in the ass at the moment. I've been encoding everything to lagarith and only using avisynth for simple imports.

Same. I do have quite a few avs scripts I can use, but I've literally had to convert a lot of my stuff to lagarith. :x
