Inertlacing

The video clips doesn't have any interlacing before you put them in Sony Vegas 8.0a, but when i try to export my final project from it, encoding with the same lagarith i get much interlacing. I have tried everything, every possible deinterlacing method, and it just doesn't seem to work.

Could you post your project settings? Make sure the framerate remains constant and that you don't have Vegas trying to deinterlace it.

If you go to the project settings, there's a "deinterlace method" setting, make sure it's off.
Also, sometimes Vegas reads progressive footage as if it's interlaced, you just have to correct it. Sometimes when you right-click on the clip and go to the Media tab, you'll see Vegas imported it as interlaced, you just have to switch the field order to None (progressive). I had a similar problem once, and that's what was causing it.
