Use avisynth + virtualdub or zarxgui depending on the format you need to encode to. To know how to work with these and to download the programs, Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides Lovingly Overhauled Largely by Zarxrax.

Mmmh, perhaps some conflicting codec. Uninstall super... and perhaps k lite if you have that.

I said to uninstall K-Lite if you had it. D:
Virtualdub is pretty easy to use, and this straightforward guide will make it even easier.

If you have other problems and don't have these already, install the Combined Community Codec Pack and update the haali splitter.

K-Lite broke your entire VFW/dshow configuration. This is why we say not to use it. Unfortunately it's a royal pain in the ass to remove properly; even if it looks like it got removed, a lot of config shit remains. Find a good tutorial to get rid of it, then install CCCP, DivX7 for h264 decodan in dshow, and the latest Haali splitter.

OK NEW QUESTION EVERYONE(saving space in the forum)

ok basically this seems to be whats happening, SUPER cant run without (something in)K-LITE, and REALPLAYER(the normal program not k-lites real media) is the only way i know how to download youtube videos, but with REALPLAYER installed SUPER crashes everytime i try to load a file.

So i need to know how to have SUPER and REALPLAYER "work together".(or any other programs that can do what they do) REALPLAYER is the only/easiest way i know to download any video i want, and it took forever for me to understand how to work SUPER to convert the downloaded videos to the file type i want(also to extract just the audio from videos) so who knows what i can do?

Like I said... quit using super and learn virtualdub. Downloading youtube videos is a bad idea to begin with (for various reasons, one of which is quality), but in order to extract just audio from a video you can use mkvmerge.

Unless SUPER has changed drastically since I last tried using it in 2005, it uses ffdshow as a source loader, which CCCP packages, and mencoder for the actual encoding. Listen to mirko, stop using it.

Wait, you haven't been using youtube for your source footage have you? Is that why the video quality on most of your videos you send me is so crappy? >.>
