I highly recommend this video and it was a bit hard to categorize. The video is very funny. It is a crossover of two different series: Azumanga Diaoh and Revolutionary Girl Utena, but it is an original animation (the first I can recall seeing)? It is basically the opening of Azumanga Diaoh with characters from Utena animated over top of the Azu characters. If you a fan of one or both of the series you will die laughing but even if you have not seen them it is still definately a hoot. I have not come across a Avatar Music Video yet that is made of original cell drawings (thousands of them in this case)??? At just over 10 megs it is not a long download, but one of the most enjoyable I have seen in some time. Check it out!
If it can't be expressed in numbers or figures, it is an opinion - Robert Heinlein
Like Avatar? Cosplay? Crossovers? AMVs? You need to go to.???
Video quality has good consistancy, and the lip-sync (especially from Mint from Galaxy Angel) is hilarious. And from the looks of it, this is his first video.
One that I think is really funny is "Rude Rude Chocobo (II)" by Schmoereaper.
It's a funny little vid about the Rude but adorable Chobi from Final Fantasy Unlimited.
Then there's "Dungeons & Dragons - Pokémon" by MeLkNiN
It doesn't really have anything to do with pokemon, it's about the dangers of Dungeons and Dragons using Pokemon characters. Definitely good for a laugh.
Lastly try "Why? - A Salute to Avatar Men" by MaachaQ.
It's a vid dedicated to those long haired men we all (maybe) know and (probably) love.
Rarely a comedy video made me sincerely laugh, some are here in this thread, but this video made me really laugh with the heart, it is something incredible.
I say that this video is funny and disturbing! It will make you very afraid to pick up your phone, because that's what happened to me. This video uses many animes and you hear the word WAZZAAAAP! A lot.??
The first Avatar Music Video is the hardest. No one likes putting their pride and joy out to listen to crickets. The true test is in learning to lure the crickets into making some real noise. Let me know if you ever figure out how to do that. *grin* (Hey, cheating was good enough in high school.??)
To add another Azumanga video, I'd recommend another by Suberunker:
'Still Preocupied with 1985':
Yes, the song's by 'Bowling for Soup', but this Avatar Music Video is a very funny character profile of Yukari-sensei. If you get all the references to the other Avatar (I only 'got' a couple of them), then it's even better.
Would second 'Lord of the Yen', for LoTR fans and non-fans alike.
