Good stuff!
Just spent a while downloading and watching ALL the videos you have all suggested. Some pretty good stuff there, found some new favorites BUT... was quite surprised my favorite FF videos aren't already here!
May I suggest:
Final Fantasy IX, to Elevation (by U2), by Fellow Hoodlum? http://tharkun.dyndns.org/megaella/
It's a well timed action video with enough comedy to balance the video quite nicely.
This one's also action, but with drama elements as well. Obvious and not-so-obvious metaphor and ironic reversal exist between footage and lyrics, and a stop-motion transparancy special effect is used to highlight some of the kickass action.
Or how about my all time favorite, Final Fantasy VIII, to Silence (by Delerium and Sarah McLochlan), by Feanor's AMV (now sadly defunct it seems)? His Gravity of Love to FF9 also kicks ass but...
This last is simply the mating of the perfect song to the perfect footage. Forget hordes of special effects or attempts at timing where the AMV creator's footage cuts match the beats of the song... no, Silence's genius is in letting the footage do the work and having the song's rhythm match the way the characters feel and move. The lyrics, again, don't try to tell you what you can see the characters are doing, but instead tell you how they feel. Oh, and I've never seen a better ending for an AMV yet... Also, watch Rinoa's lips at 2:55. Awesome.[/i]

Pretty popular at Gametrailers: Fiend Ninja's Faint Remix videos. The music in both videos is a remix of Linkin Park's Faint and they're Advent Children videos.

This is one of my favourite videos. The music just seems to fit with Advent Children.
