STANDARD AMV FORMAT?

Postby True_gamer_and_AMV_FREAK » Sun Jun 22, 2003 10:16 pm

HI! AMV_FREAK here...
Is their an AMV standard format already? I don't think their is but it would make it alot easier for us "Profesonal/Organization" freaks. I hate trying to rename my AMV's so that I know all the info when I don't get all the info in the first place!

 I name my AMV's like so if anyone is curios plz tell me if u think this is a good format
 (Anime) - BAND NAME/AMV name - SONG - PRODUCER/Group NAME

Example: (VARIUS) - Odorikuruu - Mambomamboa - AOdig.

I have a slightly different system, adapted from digisub sorting & storage.

It goes sorta like this:

AMV-Anime-Band-Song Title-Video's Name[creator/studio].???

Example:

AMV-Angelic Layer-System of a Down-Chop Suey-Path of the Deus[Senta].mpeg

If it uses more than one anime, I put "Various" in place of the anime name.

It's a bit wordy, but contains most of the relevant information, and make it possible to search all my AMVs by one or more keywords pretty easily.

Unfortunately, not all AMVs that cross my path have complete information, so I do the best I can in regards to naming them.

Even I don't put all that info in the title of my downloadable stuff, as it just gets too long, and brackets mess up bbcode most of the time if you try to put a straight link to the file on a board. I do include the relevant info in my bumpers, though.
My Eyes Are The Victim's Eyes.
My Hands Are The Assailant's Hands.
