NEED SONG =P

Postby Walnut » Mon Apr 21, 2003 1:14 am

I have been searching for a song for my next AMV Simpleton Part 2. It is a Rurouni Kenshin video using just parts 3 and 4 of the Samurai X OVA. It is going to be a slower video mainly concentrating on the relationship and having action in the end. I am looking for a song that at the least is slow, peaceful, and soft to the ear. If it picks up at the end that is great. I dont care about the genre of song it is as long as it isnt rap and I dont think country will work. I am thinking about Smashing Pumpkins - I am the Killer right now but I am not sold on it. Any suggestions will greatly be appreciated.
Thanks to everybody who helps.

i'm actually in the process of making the same type of AMV - samurai X (all 4 parts) in a romantic genre. i'm using a classical piece- debussy's "clair de lune," which is slow, peaceful, and soft. (plz don't use this song). i'll probly be finished sometime during the summer.

a good slow SP song is "by starlight"
i could also see a good beatles' "yesterday"-RK AMV

good luck with your amv, i'd like to see it when youre done.

So you need a good song, but it can't be rap or country,HMM... I think I have a couple of good ideas for you to think about. "Cold November rain"
is a good start."Meet me halfway" by kenny loggins is another good one. Then there is "take my breath away,by berlin. The song "Open Arms" is a good one by journey.the song "I dont want to miss a thing" by Aerosmith is a good one also.Love and devotion is a good song by "real mcckoy" also
Well thats all I have except for this very last one. All for one,And all for love,by bryan adams, sting. rod stewart. I hope this helps you out some. :D

Think of artists that inspire you to do something... for slower songs, maybe try radiohead... or some sort of emo-ish band. They seem to usually lean toward a more articulated, orchistrated ebb with all of their songs....
