A song I haven't seen done to AMV...

Billy Joel "Tell Her About it."

I wish I had the tech to do one. Seems a fitting song when it comes to a guy trying to express his feelings to a girl but just can't seem to do it. Like "Kimagure Orange Road" or even "Ranma"

To further the concept...

I was thinking this song would fit Ranma and Akane's relationship.

Now, since Genma is one of the worst fathers in anime, it would be funny to have him actually give useful and plausible advice.

Most of this would be subtitled to fit the scene and not reflect actual dialogue.

It starts off with Genma, back turned away from Ranma, in the Dojo. Ranma asks "You wanted to see me, Pop."
Genma: "Sit down."
Ranma sits.
Genma: "I know what you feel about Akane."
Ranma gets surprised look and starts to stutter something before trying to leave.
Genma: "Have you told her, Ranma?"
Ranma turns back around puzzled..
Genma: (In that flash of visage when he goes into that determined banter.)"Have you told Akane Tendo how you feel?"

Then cue the song... with the scene of Young Genma in the park talking to the girl that he was dating. (Song lyric: "Listen boy, I don't want you to make the same mistakes I made."

Continue with this... and with an homage to Phade's "Material Girl," have the char start singing the refrain (panda sign/Jusenkyo Guide Sign "Tell her about it.")

After all that's said and done.... Genma gets tossed into the koi pond.

What about doing that with some footage from the series "maison Ikkou" that would work well. :)
