Multi-Creators AMV with a techno/House 70 min mix

Postby WilLoW :--) » Wed Mar 05, 2003 7:33 am

So here's my suggestion :

I'd like to make a loooong 70 minutes AMV on a nonstop techno mix.

So I need AMV creators for this project.
I first need to see how many people might be interested by this project. If enough people are interested, I'll start it.

I already have an idea for this mix :
La bush-temple of house vol 3.
Below is a list of the musics that can be found in this mix

01
Victor Imbres presents
Heaven

02
Paris Red
Git With Me (Roach Motel Rhodes Mix)

03
The MacKenzie feat Jessy
Love

04
DJ George's & Marino Stephano
That's The Break

05
Force Full feat DJ Enrico & DJ Ton TB
Foreign Affair

06
Club Royale
Master Rhythm

07
JP Presents
Sexy Thing (The Experts Remix)

08
Emissary
Perfect World (SPS Calned Vocal Mix)

09
Submission
Woman Beat Their Men

10
Alex & Tommyboy
Hot & Wet

11
Natural Born Grooves
All Or Nothing

12
Nalin & Kane
Beachball (Vocal Mix)

13
La Bush
Temple Of House

each music is about 6 minutes long, so there is a real challenge here...each single AMV will have to keep a good pace for a long time.

I'll upload a low quality version on a website soon, and I'll send the adress to people who are interested.
but any other idea is welcome, as long as you have a way to send me the mix you'd like to use.

I'd like this project to be done with high quality videos (we'll discuss that later, but I think that DVD only and HuffYUV for the editing will be chosen)...

I think that there are many project like this one that fail. I do not promiss this one will be a success but If you want to try, please contact me.
I'll also need people to help me to manage the organisation and technical parts of this project...tell me if you can do something about that.

You might ask why I want to start such a project. I only like this music, and I'd love to work with other AMV creators. This is not a contest or something like that. it is only for fun.

If you are interested, you only have to:
1) send me a PM or an e-mail
2) forgive my english level

post any other ideas in this thread. Thanks

I question how well this project will turn out. Like, big long massive AMV projects like the DDR Project work well because its a BUNCH of SHORT songs mixed together. Mission Improbable was one long song, but how it was broken up it really was able to keep a good watchable pace. But in electronic (ESPECIALLY house) theres alot of times where the beat just kind of goes away and its rather boring for a while. I've thought of doing something like this too, but it just doesnt seem like itll be very fun to watch. But still, if you can get it to look good, more power to ya.

I agree with you, but I can't really know if it will be boring unless it's been done...

I see the resulting AMV not really as a thing people might want to watch on their TV, but more on something that would be displayed on a screen while people dance...a background image...
