Help!!

Postby Mr Pilkington » Mon Feb 17, 2003 1:07 pm

I have run into 1, and only 1, snag in my latest AMV. I am missing a few clips and find my self in desperate need of help. The animes I have been using are:

Armitage III
(Poly Matrix/Dual Matrix)
Coboy Bebop
FLCL
Goldenboy
Love Hina
Martian Successor Nadesico
Neo Genesis Evangelion
Perfect Blue
Pokemon (The Movie)
Transformers (The Movie)
Trigun
and sadly,
DBZ.

All are DVD's with the exception of DBZ which are fansubbed VHS (therefore suck in quality). My problem? I need clips of anime characters either impersonating letters of the Roman Alphabet, or can easily be modified to look as such. The letters i need are: "E", "G", "L", "N", and "R." See examples below. I need 2 more of each letter. It would okay to stay wih in the paramiters of my current selections, but I would perfer new titles. Any help is, as always highly appreciated.

Oh no....not that song....anyway you might want to look into Excel Saga. Sadly your options are slim as this is a VERY rare occurance for characters to do this. I recomend instead you use photoshop to edit the original footage.

There's a trio of girl's who spell out "LOVE" and possibly (but maybe not) "Yuki" with their bodies in the first volume of Fruits Basket. It all happens rather fast, though.

Good luck on the Double E, I've no idea how you're going to pull off a double E. :D

An alternate method might be to make the character's mouths synch to the sounds of the letters, but it probably won't be as obvious to viewers it is true.

I think sometimes when Vash is acting goofy, his long arms might form some letters like R. My memory of Trigun is spotty at best though.

Pretty much for the double "E"s I have been using DBZ. Things like the Fusion dance. Yeah Vash does some goofy mess, I got him for some letters but over all I am trying not to over use footage. Thanx though! :D I think I will use some more Trigun for this particular vid.

Ok, I found the scene where it sorta looks like Vash's doing a R, with a bit of editing it can look a bit better:
