Violent Anime

Postby CastielTheFallen » Sat Jun 19, 2010 10:05 am

I need some really fucking insanely violent anime. I need some shit that has a lot of killing, stabbing, perhaps shooting or rape. I need some off the wall completely Gorey violent shit. Please, no Elfen Lied suggestions, I need something that makes Elfen Lied look like fucking child's play.

Suggestions?

Devilman ─ both the TV series of the 80s and the more recent OVA.

Ninja scroll movie? Only thing that comes to mind... Though you could check out Parasite Dolls, a friend told me its a pretty messed up movie. I've yet to see it, Been hesitating about renting it on the PSonline store so I can't really say its what you want but google images shows some pretty bizarre shit if you don't mind robots here and there.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Looks like I'll be going for multi-anime so the more suggestions the better.

Then Perfect Blue, Mnemosyne, and, perhaps, the Kill Bill Vol 1 scene?

"Genocyber", a few scenes in "Akira", "MD Geist", "Violent(or violence) Jack" and "Urutsukidoji" (I think that's how it's spelt).
I do all the right things for all the wrong reasons.

Kara no Kyoukai has a rape scene, and has a good bit of blood and killing in a few of the story bits.

Dude, you should totally get Shigurui. It's insanely violent. Faces smashed in, limbs cut off, insides falling out... It does not have that kitch Elfen Lied look either, more like painfully realistic. Look here for some screens (NSFW). You can also try Texhnolyze - from the sam director and also pretty violent.

Apocalypse Zero, Wicked City, Vampire Hunter D, Twilight of the Dark Master, Biohunter, Battle Angel Alita, Demon City Shinjuku (though that's somewhat tame compared to the others I mentioned)
