Damn, Osaka's Memories is indeed a worthy "original concept" video!

Of course, when I heard the song, I immediately thought up of animeksa's Idiot Beast Heros. :?

I agree with this one. The work Scintilla did on this short piece really paid off -- I've never enjoyed an alternate opening sequence more. Kudos.

hmm most original concept that comes to mind for me is between

Scintilla's Evabeebop (already linked earlier)

and Corran's Last Transmission

and istiv's Shounen bushido

Yup.. after seeing it I can't nominate any other AMVs I had in mind.. ^^''

..which is darn good AMV btw. Not for this category though. Gonna nominate it to best fun AMV.
..then again, not very many have made a KO Beast Century AMV ;)

I don't think EvaBebop should win in such a category, since remaking an opening is not really an original concept... it already exists before EvaBebop.

Don't misunderstand me, the video is still a very good video, but i think it is more appropriate to nominate it and see it win in a category like "Best Effects" or "Best Parody" or something like that.

One original concept winner should be more a vid like Wunjo's "Osaka's Memory" or Willow's "Untitled Zero One" videos. something never saw, strange but entertaining to watch.

Note, that there may be "concept" videos better than those two, it's just the two i konw so i pimp them :)

And in case anyone was looking, Delirium is back up to download, without the funky encode glitch.

Is that mean the video is finally in sync with the audio?

...Well, technically the video was *always* in sync... but only if you had the right setup.

NOW it should work for ANY machine. And if it doesn't, I may spontaniously combust.

I sometimes loathe computers. ^___^

X2

Also there was a video That is very deserving of a nomination, unfortionatly it does not seem to be in the catelog (or was entered incorectly so I couldn't find it.)

The concept: Go through selected scenes in "End of Evangelion" and count the number of people who die. Set to happy polka music. When the carnage gets to be too much, round off ("+A Boat").

This "Body Count project" premiered at AWA pro.

(If anyone has a link, post it so I can nominate the vid just on princible.)
