I commented in the "Action AMV" threat that it was a weak year for action AMVs.
It is just the opposite for the Comedy catagory. There are so many outstanding comedy videos, it's nearly impossible to chose just five. I wish I could chose 10, there are at least that many exceptionally funny AMVs on the list.
After viewing each AMV multiple times and much careful consideration I finally narrowed my choice to five. But on any given day, depending on my mode, that list could change.
I really just want to applaude each and every AMV creator that has an AMV nominated in this catagory. All of these AMVs are very funny and each deserves high praise and special consideration and attension.
Congratulations, all of you.

Don't vote for that piece of crap AMV HELL 2: Son of AMV Hell
It sucks. It sucks it sucks it sucks. Votes should be spent on higher comedy, such as AMV Hell 1!
Whoever made that Hell 2, they suck, just damn those guys to hell.

Heh. One of my first reactions, actually, on seeing the finalist list was "Gee, I bet Zarxrax is kicking himself right now over the whole 'two AMV Hells' thing..."
Well, it can't be denied that they <i>are</i> both very funny. Happy birthda-a-ay!

hehe actually although I was being uber sarcastic in my above post, I did honestly think AMV hell 1 was better than 2, and will probaly get my vote in the finals.

Ok, that Barefoot Gen segment was going a bit too far, but all those Eva segments were GOLD!
