Uh wtf is wrong with 23.976? That's fucking progressive, it's what you SHOULD have.

Chill kid, I'm against it for many reasons. None of which I feel the need to explain to you.

I can understand why you'd want to have duplicate frames but really.

Making that your main reason for not joining an MEP is rather ridiculous. I mean seriously.

I'll be using Reaching You as my anime, and either "Vanilla Twilight" or "If My Heart Was A House" by Owl City as my song.

You can always edit at 29.97 (or in Eva's case 90+fps  ) and export to 23.97 for the project. I honestly converted the last couple to 23.97 after compilation just for the sake of keeping the file size for a 35 minute video somewhat reasonable.

Wish I could climb on board for this one guys! I'm looking forward to seeing the final project!

I'll join in. I just have to think up something first LOL. The Christmas MEP was so much fun that I'll probably join at least one Holiday MEP per major holiday for now on. And since I consider myself to be a primarily Drama/ Romance editor, an Valentines Day MEP is a must

Premiere has trouble interpreting footage at 23.97 and the version that I use may/maynot be worse about this but I've tried editing at this framerate for the last Vmep and it failed miserably with ghost frames and other problems.
Sync is another reason I don't like this low fps.
Fades look worse when you edit them at 29.97 fps and export at 23.97 and so does motion.
The audio usually goes at 23.98fps cause premiere messes it up from what I've read online. I've never finished an AMV at the fps with premiere to even see if this is true. You won't notice a huge difference till midway through the amv where the audio is off slightly.
Most people don't even know how to restore the true progressive frames from ntsc, look at Amo-chan. I'm assuming your going to help all of those individuals out? Slapping a convert, assume, etcFPS onto the aviscript doesn't do it.

Well anyway, I might do 29.97 editing and export at 23.97 like i did for the last Vmep... Atleast I think I did... Didn't like how the track looked (which is why I didn't want to do it again this time) but I can always solo release it as well.

gaudiansoulblade has turned in his first beta, so I've locked out RomeoxJuliet from the list of chooseable sources. Same with his audio.

But as always, you can use romeoxjuliet if your video uses various footage.
