If everyone agrees to that, then it should be fine - at the moment I don't see anyone speak up who's against widescreen. My track is just a bit of an anomaly since it can go either way (or so I think at the moment).

Ok, I think I get it. If I see this correctly, that would mean that we either [A] pick scenes at the end/beginning of the tracks such that they can flow nicely into each other through a hardcut, or [B] leave extra footage on the beginning/end of our tracks so that they fade (or some other effect) into each other nicely. Of course, discussing with the editors before and after during the process.
