I just have to render a huffy and get it to him. Haven't yet cause I still haven't decided if I want to add some FX for the repeated synthesized sound from 0:30-0:40.

What do you mean by synthesized? you mean the really fast sound which sounds like cymbal (or whatever I don't know)

I will try to upload a beta next week, and I'm getting episodse as well, I already did..oh wait it's so less it doesn't even last 1 second but I've started it at least.

No, not the cymbals, they are way to fast/silent to sync to. Its the slower/louder one.

T_T even though I like both betas, but sine Mai-HiME is one of my fav animes, and it would have been so perfect for that song, oh well, anyway both betas are good as I said, even though I would beat to those fast drums like the one at 0:4 and some other places, but I'm a beat maniac so it's not sure that other people think the same as me :P

Thanks for the input, but I lost my Mai-Hime footage and I really couldn't get around to making it fit.

I'd try but I fail at those kind of syncs. :oops:

I should be able to edit more after finals are over.

@Silk - Is back. And thank you for forwarding the info to Mystyk.
@MystykAMV - Skip Beat is approved. Let's see what you can do. ^_^ Yes, I did extend the cuts a little more before and after each track for that purpose. And sorry for not giving you that link. Slipped mah mind. And I also agree with Mai-HiME. Such a perfect choice, but I've already talked with her extensively on that subject. haha
@NS - Good to hear.

Well, I'm back. I'll be working on my segment (not exclusively, unfortunately) soon enough. As for deadlines... I'll talk things over with Kazemon and we'll see what some good dates will be. Thank you for excusing my prolonged absence though I do see all the pokes from you, Silk. :P haha

I've uploaded the first beta yeeey |:> I know it's really short though, and I'm sorry about that, I really wanted to upload it, so that you can see that I'm working on it, it's just that, that this beginning part is kinda a suffering, and I hardly had ideas, but it will be better from now on :3 and also the mask is not done yet at the beginning, those little angels :') I don't really like the end, but I don't know how to do it, so if you have any suggestions then please share it with me.

Too short to critique, but I'd do something about that frame blending.

Make sure you've unselected frame blending if you speed up a clip or if your source is like that your gonna need some AVIsynth help or something.

My only advice so far would be to shorten the fade out with the hand @ 0:02 or add some bluring cause the hand doesn't merge well with the next scene. The quick motion to the right in the beginning with the zoom seems a bit unnatural to me (I'd of just left the zoom straight) but I'd get a second opinion on that. Otherwise the motion is pretty fluid though I think you would benefit from some blurring alot here and there just to make it more smooth.
