I've got 2 ideas that would fall under the "regularly scheduled programming"...normal clips, that is.

But I've got a question about the other ideas of mine. Basically, they are a series of clips I've done in my Hajime no Ippo videos, entitled WWTD (What Would Takamura Do?). They might qualify as a kind of PSA, so should I send those too?

...totally just posted this in the wrong spot...if you see it elsewhere, ignore

Send everything you have for me. PSA-type things qualify, but I need to see them. We can certainly work something out.

krvabo: As for the GMAIL question...it was built to receive larger files so don't worry about sending a bunch at a time. I'm sure a warning will pop up if you overdo it. ;) And thanks for the clips. I'm looking them over now and will contact you about them later...

I'll try to make one or two things, I just gotta get the right audio clips to get my muse working. Maybe it's time to pull out that old Eric Idle song, Mortality Bytes.

Yeah, just about done with That's Death, rendering it now. Hopefully it will render right this time. I should have more on hte way, I just threw this together to have an excuse to keep drinking my tasty tasty Dr. Pepper.

Oh, btw, I have a basic production tag made. <S>Here is an imageshack link.</S> In signature. And I kid you not, over 9000 hours in MSPaint.

I've hit a little kink in the editing process for the combined:

"Hancock/Anime/What do you want a cookie?" Video I am working on for the Salad.

I should have it too you sometime within this week. I assure you. I apologize for the trouble, but the frame by frame for this is killer. I'm working on it diligently though.

Hehe, rendered at 720x480, vegas spit out a 600mb file. So when you edit all the clips together, I hope you, uh, scale down the quality a bit. Because I went as lossless as possible for the best image. So yeah, gmail is trying to send now.

No need to stress over getting things done immediately, especially since our deadline is months away. It's great that you'll have that much more time to work on more stuff later, though. Your submission sounds spectacular...

Uhm, yeah...I'll definitely be running that through VDubMod to compress that some. What codec did you use for the render? I typically use DivX (2 Logical CPUs) for a smaller file size. I render uncompressed versions (mpeg2) for burning to DVD. Of course, that's just me trying to save storage space until I can afford an external HD. Anyway, it sounds epic!..

I've just been rendering using NTSC DV at 720x480, but I'm toning it down now so I can actually email it. And I'm doing it on a computer that isn't mine but has plenty of excess space.

I ended up just using the DivX (Logical 2 Core) to do it, and sent you a file that's about 9.6 mb. If the quality is too low I'll re-render it, but it shouldnt be an issue.

Nice, nice, I lost some of my quality since I had to crop to remove subs and such. What anime was it again?

It's a:

"Hancock/Anime/What do you want a cookie?"
Combination trailer. I'm masking frame by frame the whole original teaser trailer to Hancock, mixing in some anime scenes, like in the TV's and billboards and stuff. Various anime, funny scenes, I even got the Serious Look Hamster in there at one point. Which is why I said, the frame by frame is a bitch.

Here's an example:

Hancock is drunk and flies through a highway interstate directions billboard, but anime is masked to it. The sign breaks to pieces but the anime is still masked on during the whole breaking and still shows on the pieces of the broken sign as it wrecks the cop cars.

See what I mean? You should see the bit where he tosses the whale off the beach and into the ocean, and it hits the boat. So much masking there it's not even funny.

A bitch......I think so. That's why it is taking longer than expected. there are still a lot of frames where the mask skips, and I am fixing that.

This, is what my submission is for AMV Salad: 3 Bean Casserole.

Been working on it for about 6 hours a day for the past 3 and a half weeks.

Dear me, that's hardcore. I still don't consider my self a very good editor, but damn.

Photoshop and Premiere I'm assuming?

Nope. Sony Vegas and After Effects.

I"m not ready to unveil the whole thing to deuce yet, but, I can show a small preview. Not publicly of course. With Deuce's permission, of course.

What version of Vegas? I've got 8.0, but not after effects (I think).

And if you want, just send me a screencap example in a private message.

What I was doing was a bit of a comedy thing, not really for anything in particular, poking fun at Death Note with an Eric Idle song. That's done now, and I'll prolly try to make another video this weekend sometime.

I use Sony Vegas 7.0.

Well, I'm busy editing it at the moment. I just took a quick break is all. I can screen cap it a little later, my compy is over-run with windows right now, from the editing programs, so it's a little sluggish.
