(DISREGARD) Refer to Project Multi Shine Thread

Postby TwilightChrono » Sun Jun 15, 2008 4:31 pm

Like it says in the title, I am looking to do my first Multi Editor Project. I am looking for 4 other editors who are interested in the project. For the record, I have Adobe After Effects and Sony Vegas 8. The specifics are:

1. 1 Segment per person
2. The song choice for your segment is yours.
3. The Anime choice in your segment is yours.

The song length for each segment I have yet to work out. I'm not used to setting up Multi Editor Projects, so lemme know if you are interested, and what your stipulations will be. I am anxious and excited to do this. Hopefully some people will be interested. I hope I'm not breaking rules by setting this up, if I am I'm sorry. Anyways, if you are interested reply here in this thread.

Why does it matter Which editing program you use?
Why is this in the wrong section?
Why are you jumping ahead before you know what you're doing?

Well, my fault. I didn't know which forum this belonged in. And no, it really doesn't matter which editing program you have.

And what do you mean jumping ahead, before I know what I'm doing? YOu act as if I can't make AMV's. Stop flaming.

I mean, you don't even realise that there is a Forum called MEP forum... Have you read the guides to make sure that if you get anybody to help you on your venture that it isn't a technical mess?.. That's really the first step.

besides, There is really no theme to this more approprietly labeled Collab, so.. Prolly best to just do this vid with a couple friends, but you never know.

Not really. I really wanna do a ME Project, and I just thought this would be the place to announce it. Like I said, I am new at describing ME Projects, there will be a time limit to each segment, but, it hasn't been determined yet. Those details will be worked out after 4 people are in. I'm just a editor wanting to better myself. Whats wrong with that?

Come on. This idea is dumb. Yes it is no matter what you say.

Why should anybody paste 4 videos together with no connection behind it and call it a MEP afterwards?

I suggest to find your other editors. Mix one or two songs together and split it up into parts for each editor. Sounds much better.

Honestly, don't better yourself through a random MEP.. better yourself through Making vids yourself and getting criticism.

Also, How did you think this was the right spot when like.. 4 spaces or so down from here is a forum dedicated to MEPs?

Well, thanks for letting me know. Either this can be moved there or I can create a new topic there. though I am pretty sure that is against the rules. I'll check it out.

Sorry for the double post, That was my intention all along. Not four videos together. Of course the songs will be mixed in, and edited to technical specifications. I had no intention what so ever to just...SLAP one together. I'm not a total newb when it comes to this. I do have some sense. Like I said, I hadn't worked out the finer details yet.

Ok than I´ll give you a good tipp: When it comes to MEP a lot of people are anoyed of noob MEPs that come along.

"Hey I love the band X and I want to make a MEP with theire music...."
Ugh.

It´s not that a good MEP sucks. Bad MEPs suck and that´s annoying! Everybody wants to do a MEP today and there come a lot of bad ideas along.

Good so as much as you don´t sound like a noob, the better it is for you. If you would have gone more into detail of your idea like how you choose your audio and how it might depend on how good you can mix the tracks together. Just look at other MEPs. The first post shows you how to present a good MEP.

I appreciate it. I'll work out all the fine details of the MEP now, and post it later tonight in the Mep forum. I apologize for the trouble. Thanks for the insight you guys. I do appreciate it. You should see it up in the MEP forum later tonight, looking all perty with the finer details pointed out clear and concise. Kinda like a present and show project for school haha. Thanks again.
