Step one. I picked a video with wide screen bars where the video is almost completely white

Step two I cut that clip out (be sure to duplicate it and put the copy back into the original place
Step 3Use editors video effects to make the video into a "Whitebox" video.
1. Use contrast controls to make video completely white taking out all other color. (make sure you don't white out the bars too or it won't work.)
2. In my editor, you simply click on "white box" (some editors use a differnt term which would fall under a "color keying" section in the editor) and anything white will disappear and display whatever video is under it, therefore, give video under it widescreen bars.
*notice* the video shows up as just being black when I copied this image so don't let that confuse you.
