Might speed the beginning up to the same speed i have in the end :)

up to you guys

I honestly thought both of these sucked Butt :|

Nev's just didn't connect any bit with the song and the pacing was a fatal failure, the song's Much faster and powerful than a) the scenes and b) the editing made me feel.
On top of that you could just replace this beta with any audio and it'd feel the same :?

Cool man!'s was better than nev's, but still pretty low. The Important Impacts of the song were ignored and in general, it just felt boring, it stayed exactly the same over the whole track without any kind of highlight.

And the Quallity on both betas sucked. I recall these are betas, but it's clearly to see that even a High Quality encode of those would look like crap compared to what's possible with these sources.

2 Big Fat 's ,Sorry guys.

I must say i like my second part(00:34-00:47) allot more then i do on the first part, just wanted to try two different types of sync..
And as you say, lyric wise it maybe not is the best footage for the song thats true!
But music wise its fast paced and i think samurai is pretty sweet for it!
And no, my samurai champloo is R1 dvd's, so im not sure wheres your standards for quality is! I saved it as a high quantisizer with xvid, 4 or something like that :)

hmm..... guess you are right that it is too repetitive..... by the way, what do you mean by important impact of songs? The lyrics? or some strong beats? Maybe I can fix it if it's mentioned clearly.....

And of course the quality is low, it's just a low quality beta.

cool man!: Well you butchered the quality quit a bit, but it's only a beta. Well my expirience and my feelings told me by looking at color saturation that your source is probably not DVD :| Well Quality aside. You didn't catch the feelings of the song anyhow. Seriously it really looks like a rushed job just to get the spot in the mep. Well your scene choice is if I can say that like that now: horrible actually. You had movement when it wasn't needed and kinda still frames when it needed movements. And seriously you just ignored the drums most of the time which is bad. I mean i dont need heavy drum sync or something, but ignoring everything is also not good. So this one is a no, unless you can really catch the feel of the song and that would need a total rework of the track. And next time try to send me a decent quality one. And uncompressed audio makes me also believe you have no clue to compress. A good thing was that the anime fits the song ;)

Neverend: ugh first part was a big NO! No movement just cross dissolve, blegh. Really idk know if Samurai Champloo would fit the song anyhow (Yes I saw SC and i liked it). Well anyway next was a whole lot of black >_>. I don't really like the next part! I saw cuts, a mask, and black flashes. But nothing really catched the emotion of the song well. Seemed also just like a rushed job. Also a no go for this one.

So yeah, I'm not trying to offend anyone here, I'm just setting my expectations for this mep high. So well you are free to send another beta for the track other people also! Good Luck.

Kevin: 00:11 please get rid of the LipFlap here. 00:16 hmm this bright effect looks kinda weird and there is a short time nothing on screen here, kinda starnge. Same as before the bright thingy at 00:28. 00:06; 00:36 Get rid of the ugly frame-blending on these two spots >_> Other than that it is a go from me, well I like your Karas part more atm and I would have loved to see you use Burst Angel but well it can't be changed.... :|

oh, I didnt even catch that, will do =P

One of the Things I wanted to fix anyway =P

Same as before the bright thingy at 00:28.

hmh, this part is different from the one you mentioned earlier actually, It ues brightening too, but in a different way. I thought I should probably lower the brightness on those inflashing clips.

00:06; 00:36 Get rid of the ugly frame-blending on these two spots >_>

I don't have a clue what you mean, I see no frame blending.

yeah lower the brightness, i think it looks better then

Your speeding up the clip caused ugly frame-blending, it comes from vegas there is an option to disable frame-blending in premiere but idk about vegas maybe try a right click on the scene.... But it looks ugly as hell to me |=

Damn Kev I hate you. I was going to do that track instead of my other one so I wouldn't have back to back tracks. Oh well now lol. I'll send in a beta tomorrow Scott.

For a month now? Uh, didn't see it for a month. I was gone for a week and some days but before I left, I didn't see your name on there.

edit: Btw, I saw the track. It was "ok" as I told Scott but its not exciting at all towards the end... like at 00:36secs and on. It just seems like your basic editing to a song that needs alot more and the mindless slashing does not do the beta justice. Oh and its abit off beat at 00:39 secs.

Well then since i dont hear anything and nothing really moves on here, I'm gonna let this topic rest now. I'll focus on toolx2 and i will see what I will do with this project when tool is done. Maybe I'll edit the mix and just release a short mep with the done track, maybe I'll give it to the next coordinator or ill keep on waiting in the dark. Whatever I'll think about it then....

Of course anyone is free to send betas and stuff, the usual you know.

with this ill move my attention to toolx2 now.
