Welcome aboard the Love Boat, ye who has an obvious love for emoticons. :P I can't wait to see what evils you bring to the table.

In fact,...I pushed the opening of this project up a week. I'll be expecting a flood in my gmail inbox this coming Monday. ;)

Cool then, i think i can manage a decent enough beta for you to have a look see

Also remember the ever-important production tag. I'm certain I've explained it somewhere in this thread if you're unfamiliar with what that is. ;)

I can clear that up for you. A tag is a 10-sec clip that you use to represent yourself.

Kind of like the things you see at the beginning of movies.
ex: The falling film logo for Newline Cinemas, The spinning Planet for Universal Studios.

Hope this helps. (Check out the credits for AMV Salad, those are all tags at the end.)

Speaking of tags, I'm probably gonna make another one, so don't use my old one Deuce. If I won't submit the new one, you can use the old one though.

And welcome aboard Alex-ok! Hope you'll have a good time in our little madhouse

Well, it sort of does. Though it mainly supposed to represent you in the ending credits of the video. You really should try to make something good, try using random anime and stick your name there, or just choose a good font to your name and a catchy background music, whatever suits you best :)

Okay, everyone...I need to add something to the list of tech standards.

Please, before you render your clips, add a second or two of blank video at the beginning and end of your submissions. For some reason, the last second of video has been cutting off. I don't know if it's a codec problem or my media player, etc...but it would be most appreciated if you all could do this for me. I'll cut off the blank during post-production. Thanks in advance. ;)

Okay, here's an update.

I have been all but guaranteed a place for AMV Salad at Katsucon among the video programming, although it hasn't been made clear exactly where. The staff apparently had a meeting last weekend so I'll contact my person again to find out what's going on.

As far as this chapter, I have received four entries from Dezbo21 so far. I am hoping my Gmail inbox sees some of your clips sooner than later. I know this is the holiday season so I'll try and be patient. I tend to stress needlessly over these things. I guess I'm just anxious to see what you've got to offer.

Anyway, apparently maru-sha is going to Anime Expo (?) in June, so I'm going to try and set up a screening or panel of some sort for her to represent the Salad on the West Coast.

At Otakon, speaking of panels, I am hoping at least a few of you will attend to show people a face behind the talent that is going into the Salads. I am going to try and hold a panel where BOTH videos will be shown and hopefully a mass recruiting will take place for the next installment: AMV Salad III - Three-Bean Casserole (the name was the suggestion of a NekoCon audience member).

*ahem*

Let's stay with this project for the time, shall we? I expect this to surpass the first chapter in every way. I'm also making a few clips, so there's that.

Finally, I wish to welcome back ZZMaxX for this round of hijinx and shenanigans. Let's make AMV Salad famous for all the right reasons...
