Backups were for people who dropped in advance, and no one did.

Just so everyone's aware, the project is now complete. I'm going to have trouble finding time to put it together before next week (probably not until the weekend), but it should be up and available for download within the next two weeks. That in mind, two things for you all:

#1:
Osakaisthebomb had to drop doing the intro. If anyone would like to slap together something for the intro using whatever audio you like under 15 seconds, it would help me out a lot. If this interests you, PM me and let me know, and please get it done ASAP. If I don't hear from anyone by mid-next week, I'm just going to put something simple together myself.

#2:
Now that we're done with everything, I'd like some feedback on how everything went for everyone. Please retain your anonymity for the sake of the project (in other words, answer these questions without revealing anything about your track, audio, or the audio you handed off). Did you enjoy it? Would you do it again? If I did do something like this again, what would you have me do differently? I would love to do something like this again - it was easy to coordinate, didn't take much time, and wasn't very stressful - on top of it all, I had loads of fun seeing what people were able to do in a week with unheard audio.

As I went along it was clear there were some problems, and I'll address those in a bit (though doubtless some people will point them out before I do), and I have ideas on how to fix a few of them. But I'd like to hear input from you guys.

P.S. - both of these points apply to anyone involved in the project - even if you had to drop out. I want to hear everyone's opinion.

Do you need an intro intro or an intro that gives you information about what is going on in the vid, one that explains the rules etc. ?

Did you enjoy it?
Yes I did.

Would you do it again?
Yeah why not. It was fun to edit with a random song you get. It really forced me into stuff that I usualy won´t edit. Ah... doesn´t mean that it went bad. Let´s say it got into alternative editing. It was amusing to suck out a short concept out of my fingers for it.

If I did do something like this again, what would you have me do differently?
I´m pleased. Maybe the front page about the used sources could have been updated more often.

I enjoyed it, I'd do it again.

I had fun going "[anime series deleted for anonymity]?!?! They used [deleted]??? ... [deleted]!!!... *ponders* Yeah, I guess that could have worked..."

As for improv-ements I still think you can do a two people editing at once scheme to get this done in half the time. Just find someone else who you can trust not to drop out and *ka-chink* link the two ladders together at the end.

That and don't tease your backup editors.

No, just a simple title screen of sorts that says "The Improv Project".

I might think about an intro. Uhm @all: I might have an idea for a nice intro, but I would welcome it if you think about a possible intro too ;)

I did enjoy the whole concept, it was kinda boring though since it takes forever and the rules shouldn't have been bent I am pretty sure you gave random noobs one extra week because they always had some random excuse ;p

What I didn't like was when the coordinator said that it's finished but he'll wait another 2 weeks because he's too lazy to just make some images float for some intro >:O

Well yeah, I'm not sure if I'd do it again, probably if the next line-up of editors will be better as in more disciplined to actually do it in one week or less (since that was fine too. I mean if you're sick for 3 days you can still make the video during the next 4, Jesus ;>).
