Sounds good to me. :)

Also: I'll be editing the ending segment, but I need someone to start. Anyone tentatively think their song would lend itself well to an opening segment?

you seen my beta, it could be used at the start to freak people out if you want that kind of reaction in the beginning lol.... It don't think it would work well fading in from another track anyways but thats just my opinion.

As for the beta => name idea, .
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Wow. I worked on this every day since I signed up, and I have my first beta ready to upload to my website. I'll post it later today once I get to my high speed internet (on dial up right now).

Awww. :) I like it! Can't say as how I'm crazy about the song, but that's just my own personal preference, it fits very well with Tohru.
The only early bit of criticism I have is in the shot with her looking in the tent, the matte over her mouth moves. (I'm assuming it was a matte?)

Meh. I noticed that too, now that I look back at it. I'll get to work on that ASAP.

My copy of Black Lagoon is 848x480, so i'll have to crop it down to 720x480, but oh well, i'll try not to fuck up the aspect ratio.

kiarrens - Okay, i've decided on the song and genre:

Depresszió - A mi forradalmunk

Yarly, (I've been playing too much FFXI >.>) I was a little surprised to see a beta already as well. :D

Kaxi, I updated the contributors list with your song/artist/genre info. ^^ Happy editing!

I really don't want the title to give any feeling of Women's rights. Since thats not what the project isn't about. I got one idea for the title.

Cliché XX? Nope not here!

Not women's "rights" per se, but a great deal of the feminist movement these days is focused on getting people to see women in more diversified roles, which is very much what this project is about.

I've been putting a LOT of thought into the title (I tried to just wait until the end, but my mind doesn't like to wait. It likes to mull things over, particularly when I'm trying to sleep) and I really think that XX: Unconventional works best overall.
If we come up with something better in the future, I'll change it, but for now I'm changing the title to that.
(Plus, I want a banner.) :D
