Sorry bout your computer, but if at all possible, could you send me the font that you used for the project banner, as I'm planning on using it for the intro? But if you can't/won't, then I have another plan in the background 8-)

Ummm, I think it was one of the "comic" ones, like comic sans. Feel free to use whatever font you want, though, the banner style doesn't necessarily need to reflect the theme/logo of the project, it was just something I threw together quickly. :D

I like this idea, and even though you probably have plenty of videos already I'd like to try. I'll make sure it's done by th Primary deadline.

How would prefer it, FTP Server or snail-mail?

If you could put it on one of those megaupload type places for the time being I'd appreciate it.
I'll use my BF's PC to watch all the betas turned in on or before the primary deadline, so I won't be setting that deadline back because of my technical issues.
Remember, after the first deadline you still have another month and a half to edit! :D

Okay, so I'm not sure about Romeo x Juliet (I might go with Gunbuster instead, I'm watching it today and starting to edit tonight), but I've settled on a song: C7 (Album Mix) by GO!GO! 7188. It'll be upbeat/action.

If you don't do R x J, I swear I will. :P She must be in there somewhere!
I'll update the main post to reflect your song choice.

1st Intro BETA:

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

1. I am not trying to lip sync ANYWHERE! It is just lip flap that I plan on fixing later.

2. When the little girl is wringing the boys neck, I do know there is a slight delay in a few frames, which I am also going to repair.

3. The ending title is a work in progress. I'm still tinkering with a logo, but just stuck the text there to give it something to look at.

Lemme know what you guys think!

Just curious but why are only 10 segments alowed into the MEP? I realize you dont want a super long MEP but there are tons of these characters that deserve more attention out there. Is there going to be a second MEP for this idea or a continuation MEP? Just saying...

I wanted to do another track with Princess Nine thanks to a certain someone  . There's plenty of strong female characters in that anime alone. I guess I was just hoping this wont be the end or atleast make it bigger or something :? . Afterall you have received alot of interest in the project so far so why not?
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

First off, I love the song choice (Who sings this btw?). But my main problem with this is that it seems less like an intro and more like just another segment. There should be text in there at some point (IMHO). Like our names and such. I dunno. I mean it's well done--it just doesn't feel very...intro-y (My new word). To me it should feel like an anime opening. *Dodges tomatoes*

No, don't worry about offering advice. I see exactly where you are coming from! If everybody else agrees, I'll start adding names & text.

BTW - Did everybody like the text towards the end? I'm thinking about using it for the text.

Short answer? This is my first try at this and I didn't want to completely overwhelm myself. I'm making allowances for the MEP to be longer, that's what the secondary contributors are for: I'm fully expecting those videos to be excellent and hence included in the project.

CodeChrono: I agree with Wendy on the names, but that's something we can determine when I've got a finalized list of participants and such. I like the way you're doing the transitions, it will work well with text - I see the text sliding in from the other direction as the video a few frames after the main video clip has settled... Not sure how that will look, but it's something to try maybe?

LOVE the song. It fits with the theme perfectly. Awesome choice!

The end logo is cute. ^^ My first reaction was to go, "awww!" However, I'm not 100% sure that "cute" is what we should be going for here... What does everyone else think?

I agree. It needs to be sharper. More "tough".
