I'ma comment on quality control issues mostly... the concept i thought was a neat one... but its not really for me to comment on either way as im not really that religious...
it seems that the project could have used a bit more control over the quality... as with all meps you are going to have good quality and not as good, the trouble is finding that balance... and how YOU as the coordinator can help maitain that balance
1. require certain aspect ratios, file types, and uncompressed audio ect (or else they dont get to complain when their video is not synced perfectly)
2. learn to filter the videos individually to get them all closer to being the same quality
Audio Content: needed to decide before hand weather or not youre going to do "track based" (one song bleeds into the next) or several stand alone tracks... and organize the project that way, the video started out as trackbased and then slipped into stand alone tracks... it seems alot of your peoples faded out and such, you should specify weather or not thats acceptable before hand...
Video Content: probably should have not let people use the same animes more than so many times, with so few people 2 AIR tracks seems kinda redundant... especially when all the pretty scenes are used twice... both pieces are very nice on their own, but in a project together it gets kinda repetitive...
Filtering: some pieces looked over filtered (most notably kingdom hearts) some didnt look filtered enough... lots of jaggedies... some had macroblocking, and some were clean and clear.... the credits seemed to have interlacing
its really a difficult task to try to equalize out the quality of each piece, so its probably better to get alot more grounding in Avisynth before attempting to do another one...
always prefilter each track, and save the scripts you used incase the people dont like your filtering... and give them examples of what you did to them with a screencap... or have them do the filtering themselves...
Opening Credits: I liked the layout of how you were doing this, its an interesting way to open the video it might have been better if the font was fancier and in probably different colors but the way it looks is fine to me...
one thing i would have been sure to do is to make sure that all my opening footage was in the same aspect ratio, I'd have stuck with full screen, since it starts out that way...
I would have also avoided the "3D transitions" or just stuck with the same one over and over again...
Closing Credits: I like what you attemted here with the border, at points it failed cause i could see the actual borders on the piece around the corners... next time be sure to crop the video segment off slightly better so they cant be seen around the borders (most notably on: 13:53, 14:50, 15:25)
15:14 - the top of the border doesnt go over the video untill the end (should have panned in on the piece a bit more to make it fit in the frame)
i would have chose another color again for the font here, mostly because red is so red...
i might have more later but i hope this helps... and remember this is just my opinion... some people may not agree with me...
