So that there will not be a situation like with last years godix' track. Where he did few effects and concentrated on the lyrics.
Wich might have looked ok for itself, but looked totally out of place compared to the rest.

yea good point, though from this music, its probably pretty obvious its going to be a more dance oriented project than anything else. The music is more dance inclined this time around more throughout anyway, so i'm thinking we won;t even have that problem. Still, I'll probably put a rough guideline to follow for each tracks, or the project as a whole.

Oh, and as an added reminder,

Audition / Signups will continue till 11:59 PM Friday April 13th. You have 1 more day to apply.

Ok I'll audition for:
1. Segment M
2. Segment L

L is a second preferences and there is no third as I'm only interested in that last song for the anime I have in mind =P

Look at my part in: [vidid=107184]
coz its a dance, upbeat MEP thing.

But this is my latest: [vidid=139020]

Reason: I've always wanted to give editting a dance AMV another go after doing Ninetail MEP. I also tend to edit the end of a song better than the start, as in I think I'm good at closures... ah I've been in heaps of MEPs Project Trinity... Yuri Collections... Nightwish End of an Era... o_O Naturally if I get this track I will put in 110% coz I hate being the track which stands out amongst the rest as being 'repulsive' "HAY datz OZ's track watta n00b!!", also the pacing of the track is something I can handle as it starts off slow then slowly builds up, I enjoyed the first Ayumix and know about the expectations it requires due to its prestige.

Well I really loved the first ayumix. And for the 2nd ayumix. I am going to work my best on this once I get the segment I want. I am going to work hard on what effects I could use for this, and of course I will get some opinions from bakadeshi for it :wink: I am definitely getting advice on what is wanted and what would make a good segment. I just want to put my whole editing into this project and see what I can do and learn. :D

Ok. I had to think about this for a bit. Here is the segment order preference:

Seg C
Seg F
Seg G

Example of previous work:
[vidid=108445]

[vidid=123535]

I think my segments could have been better but I am willing to try to make it work for the MEPs. (The iron chef mep is just an example that I am willing to participate on a deadline. If the video doesn't work out right the first time I can always get feedback like I did last time, which helped me improve the video.)

I am interested in C more so because it has kind of a hip hop twist. I tried experimenting with some hip hop in the Emcee Sak video. I would like to explore more that pathway of beats.

If you want to put me on backup that will be fine as well.

Segments

01 - Segment F
02 - Segment B
03 - Segment K
04 - Segment L

Examples of work

[vidid=136569]

Why I think I should be allowed to join

Mainly because I preform my best works in meps and tend to use a lot of effects, therefore I could provide this video with some awsome visuals O:, also because my post is colorized

Sorry it's a little late, I'm not usually one to ignore deadlines >_>

1 Segment F
2 Segment B
3 Segment H

An example of my past work:
[vidid=131892]

Why I think I should get the track:
I'll be honest, I've never really delved into this kind of stuff and I'd really like to see what I can produce with a totally new direction in editing. And uh... I like to use colours in videos :P

Fine, I'll make deadline tonight, since narubatou was outa town ;p

This post closes signups for Ayumix2. I will probably need a few days to sort through everything and assign tracks.

Thanks for all the interest. If you don't get a part, don't feel bad. I will be assigning tracks based on multiple conditions, ultimately giving it to whomever I think will do the best givin those conditions, along with which tracks they choose as their first second or third. Not getting a track does not necessarily mean you are not good enough for the project. ^^

If I'm as crazy as I think I am, there will likely be a next time also ;p

I am still working on this.... You guys are making this hard, Too many good editors signed up with overlapping requests compared to last time ;p

I should have also asked what anime you are using, so as not to get overlaping anime types and conflicting styles. I forgot to include that request initially.

IF those who signed up can either post here or PM me their anime choice, if decided, that will help. I wont disqualify you for not providing the information though.

When choosing your anime, keep in mind the following:

I'd prefer anime with Pretty colorful and/or detailed animation to give a higher quality to the project. Of course it also has to be org local friendly, pg-13 or lower. I don't care if the sources are DVD or not, as long as I can't tell they are not DVD. If you are unsure, send me a sample encoded in distribution quality Xvid, or Lagarith to OK it. Ofcourse, No Logos or Subs will be permitted unless put there by you for the video purpose. even then, I'd have to OK it, as I don't see how any kind of subtitling would look good in this mep ;p
