Hmm...this is so damn tempting. I don't really have the time to edit something else though...need to work on another AMV for an upcoming con.

So I'll sit in reserve on this one, if that's ok. If there's a track that someone can't finish or does not want, I might pick it up, but I can't commit to anything at the moment. I just don't want to take a track, and sit on it forever, and having to give it up at the last minute, causing more delays for people.

There is no real due date for this MEP as of now, I was planning on starting it in the summer time when more people have more free time. I just started it early so people can start selecting tracks or decide if they are interested.

I'll probably start working on an intro for the MEP in late april or early May. So no stress on dedication for now.

I might take out a few of the tracks on the end, cause it seems like the MEP carries on a bit long. No one that currently has a track will be effected by this. It just means I'll be deleting one or 2 tracks near the end with the tracks before and after being untaken. As a matter of fact I'm porbably gonna do that this weekend.

11ish minutes is a bit much for this kind of music, going to try to cut it down a bit.

Welcome aboard fellow nightwish member 8-), plus your using my most favorite anime so I'm very interested in seeing your track  .

On another note, I've taken out 2 tracks near the end and I'm very satisfied with the results. The Mep won't carry on as long now and the music near the end doesn't feel repetitious . We all know listening to much more then 10 minutes of the same band is annoying. So I fixed that problem.

No one that currently has a track was effected by this!

The main page has been updated completely, links and all. Even the full mix has been updated. 8-)

I'd like to express my interest, but at the same time ask a question.

I'm interested in participating, and if I may, I'd like to occupy the space in Track 5 with Appleseed as its video source.

Now for the question: Is there a preferred lossless codec for the footage the editors are going to send you or does it really matter since the final encode will be make the end result the same anyway?

Get it to me in the best possible way you can. Hell if you can send me an uncompressed avi on DVD to my home address then kudos to you.

But the most used route is a lossless codec like lagarith. I'll update the main page with the info you want.

I get that much, I was just asking if there was a preferred codec. I know some people prefer Lagarith over Huffy and vice-versa, and I wasn't sure which one you leaned toward. But since you put it that way, I'll try 'em both and see which one comes out better.

Main page updated. Actually to tell you the truth, I prefer lagarith over huffy but it really don't matter.

Don't forget, if you decide you may claim track 6 with track 5. You can even use a different anime on track 6. The same portion of the same song was split internally evenly. So you can claim both if you want, totally up to you. Welcome aboard.

It's fix'd, you can redownload your track. If anyone discovers a broken link just let me know and ill put it back up. Bigupload only hosts for a month if no one downloads.

Welcome aboard req, don't forget to let me know what anime you plan on using.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm not expecting you to use tons of FX. You can use them as much as you want, the main focus is strong, tight basic editing. Keep the motion of the anime to the music. High speed fights... etc... However if you feel you can use FX or small cuts from different times in the anime to intensify the action then by all means go ahead. I'm still mainly looking for motion sync. If what I'm trying to say is unclear to you then PM me or Instant message me and i'll try to clear it up. Feel free to send me beta's for some feedback on your portions at any time. I'll try to give constructive criticism.

Since the tracks are starting to fill, I'm probably going to start working on an intro earlier then I expected.
