Question on something...

The aspect ratio is 4:3;

However, Death Note episodes (at least the raws I have) are 640 x 360, and i downsized them to 640 x 352.

So thus, would I need to blow up the video to x 480 and then just crop off some of the horizontal pixels or...?

Being the intro track, i'd suggest that you COULD get away with the black bars on the top and bottom, and then as it transitions into the next track, put black bars on the beginning frames of the next track when you're putting it all together, and extremely quickly, raise the black bars off the screen, if you get what I mean.

There is no way to make 4:3 and 16:9 look the same unless you expand or shrink one or the other. Since I doubt people want me to do that I was gonna take 4:3 segments as 640x480 and widescreen as 640x360. All the widescreen segments will have blackbars on top and bottom but the AR will be maintained. The video will be smaller but thats the only downside. Most mep's prefer that option over shrinking/expanding from what I've seen.

Just make sure to letterbox your widescreen vids before you get them to me (Crop off the black).

From what I know, that anime hasnt even been released yet... How are you planning to use it?

*Edit* Disregard that comment, just looked it up. I hadn't even realized it was released. You can have the track.

I'll admitt I had my doubts since you finished so quickly but I was quite surprised, good job :wink: . Good exiting with the guitar too, fits nicely. Perfect for the ending.

Feel free to send me Final copy lagariths in YV12 (Smallest filesize) at any time however dont count on me as your file holder. Keep it stored somewhere else as well, anything could happen. Tomorrow my HD could fail. And if it does i'll never say anything pre-emptive again >_>.

Sure am, Track 8 isn't claimed by anyone so its up for grabs. You'd be excused from the 15th deadline obviously and if needed an extension on the final can be given. I'm in no hurry to release it to be honest. I'd rather people have the time they need. If i dont set deadlines people will procrastinate too much. Like me >_>... Pacing myself.
