^Don't work yourself to death, after all there has to be something left for us to kill.

Uploading my final beta now. If I can get any constructive comments, I'd appreciate it. Still trying to mess with the compression and clean up a few things. The complete should be up later on tonight or Saturday.

No prob about the emails. Btw, was wondering if I could raise my hand for next years as well

I need some other editors input on this... (already sent an email to the boss).

Half way through the deadline, I was givin a new midi file for a new intro piece.

Really need some feed back from the other editors to see what they think of the editing. Video will be up in prox. 30-40 minutes. Tekken - Final.mpg or avi
I took the new midi you gave me (which sounds incredibly different due to the fact it's a .midi) and listend as much as possible to where I think the audio would begin on the original mp3. I guestimated around 18 seconds. So I created 18 new seconds for the midi part of the song. The entire length of the video is 1:38 long enough to cover both the original mp3 and the second .midi file. Only problem is, I don't know how accurate the midi sounds to the real thing (like the mp3) but I did my best.

I've uploaded an "almost done" beta on the ftp. There's a small amount of things I really need to tweak (especially the small black space) but it will all be finished by the deadline.

Good luck to everyone!

I've tried 4 different ways and can't seem to get the midi part encoded correctly to the mp3 and video.

The first 18 seconds are silent (it's suppose to be the midi sequence). I need some help on this one.. I'm uploading the complete version now, only thing that's not there is the audio, but seeing how that's the orchestra's job hopefully it won't be a problem. But i've tried recording the midi while it's playing to an actual mp3 and virtual dub and tmpg but nothin worked..

Final is up.

Both of My videos are up and FINAL (unless Boss doesn't like something)

File is Tekken - complete.mpg should meet all tech aspects
Drakengard2 - technical.avi (Drakengard 2)

Alright, I tried playing with it a little more and couldn't really change much of the file size without hurting the quality or vise versa. So my final is the file named...

Don't you hate these last minute hick ups?

Can't confirm mines ok, cause boss said he's gonna be late in replying....

Hey boss the intro is synced up to the midi intro and the rest is the original mp3 you gave me.... I can pull an all nighter if something is amiss.

My final mpeg2 is up. I fixed some scenes (especially the ones where I got hit), filled up the black space, and added a much better ending. :)

GUYS THERE ARE STILL SOME VIDEOS THAT I HAVEN'T RECEIVED. PLEASE UPLOAD THEM.

And the Drakengard 2 is owned by Square Enix, so we dont know if we can show it. But you never know, Square Enix might have a change of heart when the concert comes and they see that we're in it for the art, not the money.

bummer, felt my drakengard video was better than my Tekken. O well, it's not 100% no yet, hopefully they'll have a change n heart after all there not heartless

Would it help if you told them that about 80% of the footage was used from their trailers for the game and only 20% was from other game footage?
