I'm interested in everything, and I'm female. Skype me sometime if you have it. XP

Not enough people on Skype talk with me. >_>

anything you need lemme know, i can edit or va, im basically an editor for hire at this point...

-lol- Thanks, but no thanks. Just imagining Faye talking in a high falsetto scares me; brings back memories of seeing the infamous Man Faye for the first time....

SQ, thanks for the offer. I don't have Skype anymore; I just wiped my computer and reinstalled the OS because I had too much crap on it. If you want, you can send me a demo clip. If don't need your voice for this project, I may be able to use it for my next one.

I'm taking a multimedia course this semester as an elective. Three days of audio/video/graphics/web design every week for a whole semester. I'm in heaven! Who knows, maybe I'll be able to use this or my next AMV for a project...

LOL.

Try having it as a major, buddy. I've got Protools, Photoshop(trying to test out of this) and Pre-Production planning this quarter.

So far the "hardest" class was ScreenWriting & Storyboarding, but I had loads of fun with that. XP

But anyway. Let me know what you want in the demo for the future, and I'll do it whenever, since I know you don't need someone now. [I should actually have a SGM-1X Shotgun Mic within the next few weeks so 8-)]

But like I said, I'm interested in everything so I maybe I can edit as well or something. I can lip synch. This is really old, but completely lip synch. But this is my favorite lip synch(it's at the end).

I've been watching the thread for a while, just haven't posted until now. XD

SQ, if you want to send me a demo, just try out a couple of the girlfriend's lines. The video clips are great. I'd love to have you on board as an editor. Once I have the audio completed and in its final form, I'll divide it into scenes. There's a few scenes I definitely want for myself, but for the most part you'll be able to pick and choose. Do you have Cowboy Bebop episodes or the Movie on DVD?

I forgot to say this for anyone else who may be interested in editing, I'll want to see a video that you've done with lip-syncing. It would also be extremely helpful if you have access to Cowboy Bebop DVDs and are already familiar with the series. Hopefully, you've also read the AMV guides on this site. I just did a trailer AMV a few weeks ago to get some practice before working on this project and was somewhat disappointed with results of using lossy, compressed files for my source videos. Now I'm reading through the guides before I get to the video portion of this project.

No, I don't have the Cowboy Bebop DVDs, but I could get them. I have netflix. :amv:
When's your expected date for sound to be done?

It'll probably be 1-1 1/2 weeks for me to get an audio track together depending on what happens with the female voice actor. My friend who said she wanted the part seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. :? If I haven't gotten audio clips from her by the end of the week, I'll be using someone else.

Once I have an audio track completed, I'll post it in this thread to get opinions before working on the video. If the audio needs some revisions, that'll take two or three days depending on what kind of changes need to be made. So a finalized track in---2 weeks? I think that's a pretty conservative estimate.

All right. I just ask that because I only get 2 DVDs at a time with Netflix, and I'm in the middle of Getbackers right now. XD

-lol- Oh, is that any good? Yeah, you don't have to get the rush to get the DVDs. You should switch to Blockbuster Online, though. Seriously, it's a better deal. I tried Netflix once, but switched backed to Blockbuster Online. Now they have this Total Access thing where you can return your movies to a store instead of mailing them and use them as coupons to get free in store movies. Plus, because they're returned instantly, you don't have to wait 2-3 days for your return to be received before another one is mailed to you.

Yes, I've already seen random episodes of it back when I had cable. Getbackers is awesome, and I was hooked since the ifrst episode. It gets a little stupid sometimes, but still fun. XD

As far as Blockbuster Online vs. Netflix goes, it wouldn't work for me. There are no blockbusters around here, I don't have a car, and Blockbuster from my expierence doesn't have the selection of anime and other stuff Netflix does.

Besides, I already have like a 300 DVD long queue in netflix. There's no way I'd remember all those if I switched to Blockbuster. My 2 DVD package is like.. 14USD a month, but it's unlimited. I usually don't even watch the Netflix DVDs. I just copy then and ship them out the next day. So I don't have to wait that long.

-lol- You're not the only one that does that  Now that I put a DVD burner in my laptop, I don't even have to worry about running out of disk space when a 3 pack of DVD R's only costs $2 at Walgreen's.

Well, where do you think I got the "idea"? :ninja:

Anyway, yeah. Half my anime collection is burned DVDs, and it's doubtful I'll ever see nicely animated menus or an official disc for a long, long time. Not enough money, now.

What software are you using? DVD Shrink can backup/copy DVDs with menus and everything. It's free too.

I don't want my footage looking like bootlegs when I finally rip them again, so I take out all the unnecessary stuff with DVD Shrink and have as little compression as possible. Most of my DVDs don't even have the Japanese audio track anymore. XDD

Now if only DVDShrink compressed audio, then we'd be going somewhere...

But, back on topic for fear of this getting split and locked or something, I ordered the SGM 1X in the early hours of this morning aproximately 12 hours a go. So within a week or so everyone should be hearing MUCH more SQ. And at higher quality.

(Shotgun mics are for cameras, yes, but since i needed a mic for Audio class, and the cheapest recommended was 100USD, I decided to kill two birds with one stone and get a good mic that was compliant with both camera and switchboard. 8-))
