Contrast? You kidding me? It fits right in, and it looks awesome :D

So Scott you were thinking about the white background. So... what do you all think:
Could this work? Or is it a too really big contrast to the rest of the MEP?

It can work if you make the first scene (the naked girl from the back) a little longer so i can make the transition with the segment before your part (longer = a little sooner than your real segment's beginning time, so there will be a 2-3 secs that both of you do => transition). Same goes to the last scene.
As for the background, we will see, when it moves, or maybe you can place the "art with paint" you made in your Hot Coffee segment in the background, it would kick ass (still laughing at that shit, can't stop watching that vid, so funny!) :D

Hey thats a good idea! First I show Nyu´s back normal. Than there comes the first part to time. I set there the color corrections and a little zoom out and afterwards the ride will beginn.

I render for a 90 frames long clip in 1000x1450 for 22 minutes. This Aurora Sky is a pure ressource eater, but the system renders without problems.

Same goes to the last scene.

Ah yeah. I don´t think that I will hold on this editing in wide spaces and move on with a normal keying, layer editing. For the "outro" I maybe use Nyu again (the same clip) and fade it back to it´s normal colors.

I think that you should set the color corrections at the very start too, but at the ending fading the corrections is okay - i'll have to mix it with mine (since you are the one before my segment), i wonder how... :D

Neg on that. Just wait until it gets finished...it'll be a nice surprise, y'know? Besides...I don't feel like uploading a huge Lag file or learning how to compress with WMV.

== true;

WMV is easy. Pick WMV9 Codec and a profil that fits your video settings thats all. If I remeber it right, you don´t have much freedom with it.

I don´t know how it is on a Mac, but are there VDM and avs scripts or MeGUI :?:

I'm almost done with my hopefully final beta. A WMV () should be up within the next hour or two.

Well...you have to load your file into MeGUI with an AVS script...

Assuming I understood the question, the editing process on a Mac does not involve loading files into MeGUI with an AVS script. It's a whole different beast. It's easier, but unless you're using FCP, you get alot less customization tools.

I think that the border looks pretty nice aeri ^^, also nice beta, mmm when you use the cross effect, it looks a little off, it needs to start a little before. Other than that its good, nice idea of using dancing scenes (I´m doing the same XD).

ok now for my part, well I will post here the beta as soon as I try some things with AE, but I really need to know something from you guys that use AE, does it has an effect to make little thingis of light flashing like every 0,01 secs, I ask this cause I would need that for this part 3:28- till the end, I would try to add that if its possible and then post the beta here.

BTW yeah Kaxi I´m the birthday-boy now since today is my birthday (18th, I´m an old man XD)

Man! Happy birthday ^^

I think that the 1987´s are a majority here in this MEP. Or am I wrong Ben? ;)

Something unhappy to say (*sigh* time to be the bad guy):
As I said, that there isn´t anything else to say to the MEP parts wasn´t true at all. So I have to post critics (and the first one gets heavy):

Greggus... It´s your part I´m completly unpleased. Not only me. Somebody PNed me up if this is should be a joke and it is my job now to say you that. My first impression as well of some of my other friends was: WTF? and they have to do nothing with amvs. In my opinion you have to complety throw it away and make this new. Sry...
Now let´s go threw the timeline:
00-04 I was pleased. The scence was alright. The timing was aswell ok, but maybe needs more fine work. I don´t know
04-17 The missery begins. First of all: The scence pick. The girl on the floor was ok, but the rest not. For example this strange people. What are they doing here? They are completly on the wrong place. The move of the clips looks damn cheap. DAMN.
No love in this effect and in my eyes no use in this form. The black lines moveing sting in my eyes.
15 Do you want to cause a epileptic thing in me? No I´m am a friend of flashy things but that was a completly overdose of flashes. As well as wrong timed to the music.
-23 I think this scences were alright.
23 wtf? Overdose Not so good timed. The scence afterwards was good.
25 Completly bad scence pick

The opinion of the person the wrote me was that you should completly overwork or start the part from the beginning on new. Maybe this is really the right thing to do and the person who wrote me the message is somebody that has my respect for his work and so on. So... the person isn´t just somebody, but someone that knows what he/she is talking about and no it wasn´t somebody of the team or scott. Just somebody outstanding.

Ok Danielle:
I don´t like the smile of Haruki at the beginning =P No really don´t. It looks dumbass. ...standard zoom out fades synced to the music? Can it be also maybe something more original (it works, but mor original would be fine)?
Once again: TOO much flashy at 12. It is no good too agressive for something that isn´t so strong in the song to hear out (that´ what I think).
23 - Here do the zoom out effects a fine thing
26 - Why is it so long white for no real reasson? Please change...

Overall we have to set a higher bar. We can do better, I know it so let´s do it and make this amv kick all asses of the world!

Ok, here's my beta (sorry for the size, and it IS encoded in WMV [I think :/ ], even though it's in .avi format). The only thing I think I may change for the final (Lagarith-encoded ;)) version is the first scene. I masked for four damn hours straight on the portion from 0:09-0:17 >_< That I will not change; sorry if it sounds like I'm being a stubborn asshole, but I think it works and I worked way too hard on it. Hope everything else works; any other suggestions for small changes are appreciated, but I think I'm pretty much done with this.

Finally ^_^
