and by stretched I meant that the uncommon resolution of your beta (which I'm guessing resulted from cropping subs) would look really different compared to other tracks when you resize it to 640x480

Agreed on the quality thing. Also, I think it would turn out better if you synced more (if not all) of your scene changes and flashes to the beats. If that's what you were trying to do, no offense, but you didn't exactly do a good job. I counted maybe 10 easily identifiable synced scene changes/flashes out of, what, 30? 40? Obviously there could be more, but still, at least half of them aren't synced.

I dont get the point your making, what do I need to improve on?

And Kariudo I didn't remove subs as it is dubbed but the movie came in that format and with the size rexXmaster gave in the MEP main post dosent go well with it....

I basically mean that it would feel better if you had your scene changes/flashes occur on beats of the music

the source format is .avi but I had to convert to .wmv to import it vegas. I have no idea how to implement a script of avisynth in vegas.... this is sorta getting me mad, mabey when I finish my track I send you the .veg file and you save it for me?

I fiddled around with a script in the thread you made about this
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=77596

if it comes down to you not being able to buy the dvd and having no other choice but to use that (or other dled footage), pm me and we can work something out.
I don't want to say what I have in mind at this time, but rest assured that it will fix this issue.

you can use avi files in vegas...just not ones encoded with divx or xvid.
you'll have to re-encode your footage with a lossless codec such as lagarith or huffyuv

I'd like to add that the source of the sync problems probably stems from that avi footage. especailly if it's encoded with divx or xvid

To my ear, they weren't. I had even slowed the clip down when I did my counting. As Kariudo said, it is possible that the encoding threw off the timing. As for VirtualDub not having lag or huffy, that essentially means that you don't have them yourself. Huffyuv can be gotten from here and Lagarith from here

try this for avs
Avisource("your source place.avi")
converttoyv12()
Telecide(1)
decimate(5)
LanczosResize(720, 412)
deen("c3d,2")
Levels(16, 1, 255, 0, 255, coring=true)
coloryuv(gain_u=-3)

try that??

I had to remove some lines due to the errors in the script and after that it looked horrific, so I installed lagarith LL(Loss Less Codec) and I also remixed the beta, it looks much better now-
