hmh..I see there are still a lot of free Tracks and the Deadline is soon..so I guess you still need a bunch of Editors to join This project, right?

Since I am not familiar with this project I still have a Question after reading the first post...And thats just a simple Question: Can any Anime be used? lol, I just wanna make sure so I don't do anything wrong^^;

Oh and I wanted to mention that Segment 02 of Track 01 can't be downloaded o=

Yeah, I still need quite a few more editors to join in.
Any anime can be used as long as the scenes you choose
don't contain large amounts or graphic violence or sex scenes.
That kind of stuff would probably be wierd with these kind of songs anyway ^^;
If I notice too many people using a certain anime, I might limit it but so far i haven't had any problems with that.
Multi-anime videos are allowed too.

If anyone has a problem finishing by the current dealine,
I don't mind extended a lil further.
I don't wanna rush anything in it and make sure everyone has time
to do the best they can.
Hopefully it won't take alot longer to get the remaining tracks taken care of.

The full summary of the project now is:

Total Segments: 52
Total Segments Taken: 28
I'll check again to make sure my count was right.

Thats still quite a bit unclaimed but I know some others that
may be interested in helping out.
That probably can't all be taken care of by the current deadline though.

Thanks for pointing out that segment that wasn't working, Kev.
I just fixed a new link for it.
lol I better check these other segments again and make sure they are all okay too ^^:

Thanks for checking this thread out
I hope you find a segment that interests you.

hehe, ok that's Good. I'd like to take Track 05 Segment 02 with KARAS then. I already started it, lol. It's kinda intersting (and funny) to work with that music xP

I'ma quite fast Editor and the Track is quite short, so I might be finished today or tomorrow with it already, so expect a beta soon :P

That was quick!
Lol that was weird but it worked with it.
Good sync and good quality.
The only thing I can think of is maybe trying something different
on some of the scenes insted of the quick fade to black on every one.
It looks good but it would probably be better to try something
different with some parts.

Be sure that whenever you send in your final version that its at 640x480 resolution

I've been meaning to ask...is it okay for us to have black bars on top and bottom if we use a wide screen source, or do you want it full screen?

Id like to have the majority of the clips in fullscreen but
I don't mind if someone needs to have a track in widescreen.
There is already a video in the project like that.
The only thing I wouldn't be okay with is if a segment was constantly switching between wide and fullscreen.

hmh..yeah there is a way to get wide Screen Video to Fullscreen 4:3 without Stretching and without letterboxing, but that means we'd have to cut off lots of stuff off from the vid on left and right, I'd rather letterbox it.

As for my Track, as I said It's just a beta, I will see what I can do and make it less "repetive" ;)

If you are dealing with widescreen sources you can either letterbox them are
crop the edges so they fit to 640x480
theres a guide that shows that but I don't have the link handy right now.
If cropping the sides takes away too much from your scenes, just go ahead and letterbox it.
Just make sure you never stretch the video to make it fit 640x480 >_<

That track you are interested in is Track 19 segment 2
length: 54 seconds
Do you want that segment?

Thats cool
Can't wait to see the changes
and thanks again for doing a segment.

Problem on mine and Yeiweh's side...

The hdd that was housing our project went kaput just a little while ago. I've was trying to find some way to bring it back... but I think it's lost. Months of masking and rotoscoping down the tubes...

Whoa That really sucks >_<
That happen to me with a video before too
I always try to back up my stuff on a dvd now just incase something like that happens.
Sorry about the video :(
I know that must have been alot of hard work for you two with all the rotoscoping and stuff.

Do you think you and Yeiweh are still gonna be able to do something
in the project or are you gonna have to drop?
