Tell me this, if you need to edit to lyrics in a different language, why do you think that viewers would go through the trouble to view it in a different language?
Meaning: Who is going to actually translate it and say "OMG you guys are such cheaters!"
It's music!

Well, whenever I listen to foreign music, I wouldn't be able to understand if there were curses every two seconds or if the rock artist is singing about butterflies. I just go by the song as a whole and see if it has that hook to it. This is one of the reasons why I like foreign music better than our own. You have no clue what they're singing about, so people who think they don't like the stuff the band's singing about really wouldn't know what they're singing about. I hope this makes any sense O.o

angel234, I want to change my song to the following (so no Dreams Come True anymore):
song: Bossa de Sana 2001 (ボッサ デ サナ 2001)
artist: Sana
anime: still unknown

About Japanese lyrics, it's true that nobody will check the translation and you can actually match scenes totally the opposite of what the lyrics are, but when I'm editing - for some reason - it kills me not knowing what the lyrics of the song. When I'm editing, I really check out every aspect of the song to match every picture with every aspect of the song. But that's when I'm in editing mode only though, whenever I listen to music, the lyrics isn't the first thing that strikes me. I guess it just depends on the way you edit and what you think is important yourself...

lol sorry i never liked any of Megumi Hayashibara songs. i personally dont know what so great about her even though i have her discography. ^^

I love her because she was my first step into anime. I heard "Give A Reason" on one AMV by 007 Vegita at DBZSC and that got me looking into slayers, which lead me to EVA (from a trailer on the Slayers The Motion Picture DVD) and so on and so forth. So she holds a special place in my heart for that.

And I haven't done a good Megumi Video for a while since the History of Dragonball dibacle three years ago.

and btw angel234, the anime i decided on is zegapain

I agree for the most part on Megumi Hayashibara, the only songs that she did I like are the ones on The Slayers series. Other than that, she's pretty meh to me.

Everyone it entitled to their opinion. I'll just have to work to make this video the best damn one in the project.

And most of the Megumi Hayashibara songs I like are from the Slayers series too. Hell, "Shining Girl" is listed as a song from the Slayers series. Don't know from where, though. I think I saw it's featured on the Slayers Perfect soundtrack.

Well, this is not the place to discuss why some people like an artist and why they don't. Let's now focus on the task at hand and put petty differences aside. I promise to be good from here on out.

They say "[BULLSHIT KANJI]".
Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine when people type English words with a Japanese font.

......

The code monkey wins. Just a question though Doki.... did you use RFC-2795 (IMPS) to get the real Kanji? :P I know the secret to your editing/coding.

My ADD always kicks in when I say I'm gonna start.....also cause it's a biotch trying to find the scenes and crap.
I'm gonna need a whole day of nothingness to start, but once I'm started, it's like eating Lay's chips, you can't eat just one.

I should be starting my track soon. First, I need to find a way to edit down the song, and I'm gonna re-watch SAK asap. So yeah...soon...
