Glad to see everything seems to be going well. Just so ya know, it's themaan, not themann. But don't credit me as that anyway. Use "Ben Harris," I don't go by that username anymore and I can't get it changed either. Hope everything's running smoothly!

Ahh, sorry about that I would blame it on my eyes but the doctor says I have 20:20 vision :( and the credits it will say Ben Harris.

Another weekend, another list of updates.

I liked what I was able to complete this weekend, although I am not done I have done quite a bit so far... I also am happy to report I have a sample video of me playing Gene's Sending Freedom in heavy mode, bad quality video but its something everyone can see on the progress and such... heres the update.

=-I began working on the standard mode for Sending Freedom and finished it in 1 hour, spent about 3 hours clearing up the mode and making sure everything was on beat before I made a copy of standard-=

=-Began heavy mode saturday the 5th and added in steps to make the simfile more challenging, I went through and made minor edits to the simfile before calling it good until the day before beta testing release-=

=-Made a challenge mode and put in the basic outlines for the 'extremely' complex step lineup I have on it, I have not gone through and done any re-syncing which will probably take a good 5 or 6 hours to do, I plan to do this tomorrow as well as begin and work on the challenge mode for Requiett's Apocalypse WoW video, so wish me luck on that!-=

=-After finishing my work on heavy mode for Sending Freedom I recorded myself playing it and put it on youtube, click here to view the sample video I hope you all enjoy it, sorry the crappy quality.. I will be sending out another video for challenge mode of Requiett's video.-=

=-Atleast four new animemusicvideos added to the project and to be ready to begin work on-=

How's the project coming? Also, do you have a site associated with this thing, or what?

This is both to themaan and to Bashar.

I am currently working on three songs, I am working on heavy mode for TKO, I am working on heavy mode for Birth From The Beast and I am working on normal mode for I do [heart] Yuri. I plan to finish the heavy mode for Birth From The Beast and TKO before I go to bed and to finish normal mode of I do [heart] Yuri before I go to bed, that way Sunday I can start 2 more songs, make banners and bgs for all the songs still needing it and finish up I do [heart] Yuri... and yeah, it sounds like a lot of work but considering I was able to make a standard mode for Birth From The Beast in 30 minutes tonight I figure it wont take to much longer to take the source and just make the steps more complicated.

As for the site association, I am working on a website that will hold this simpack and other things, it will open up with Home, Simfile, Writing, Review, and Forum pages... and will in the near future after that probably open up a AMV/MV section along with a probable home-video section... unfortunately I havent even begun production on this site, but as soon as I can I am going to sit down and spend an entire weekend working on it.

I am still looking for more videos unfortunately, I will probably just choose a few I have seen recently and send the creators messages, I currently have 8 videos picked out so that leaves 7 more, if you want yours in then post here or pm me!

Below is a full list of updates.

Updates of August 19, 2006 wrote:-=- I finished TKO and Birth From The Beast standard modes and begun Heavy modes, both of these songs have had extensive edit and revision-=-

-=- I am positive about what I want to make banner and bg's for all the songs I have worked on so far, so doing that wont take much time at all-=-

-=- Starting to work on standard mode for I do [heart] Yuri so I should be done with that by the end of the weekend. -=-

-=- I decided to drop challenge mode for all the songs, I know its kind of short notice as well as a bummer but after trying to make a keyboard version of the videos I have selected I realized it was an unrealistic goal... since the songs dont have enough beat in them to support the amount of arrows I needed, instead I will either bring back the light mode or I may put in a double-mode or couple-mode. -=-

there needs to be an Exceed, In the Groove, and DDR style game project... like the ddr project... but with songs from those other games too... cause songs like Tell and Disconnected from ITG are awsome..

@AMV::

This project isnt really using songs from DDR, though I am using two songs that are official DDR songs, I do I do I do and Cartoon Heros... but that ended up being coincidental, though that is a good suggestion- perhaps I will start another project where editors get together and actually make videos for In The Groove songs and such.

@Gene::

I will see what I can do, it shouldnt be too difficult now that I have a standard mode and all I really have to do it make the standard mode easier on light... but I originally didnt want to make it because it seemed much to choppy with the songs I had and it would be odd; but I should probably do it.

Updates of August 20, 2006 wrote:-=- I finished I do [heart] Yuri standard mode and will probably work on heavy mode today. -=-

-=- Did a bit more edits on Birth From The Beast standard then I moved into heavy mode and was able to complete heavy mode, going to work on edits later today. -=-

-=- Found two new videos I want to add into the project but I still need to talk to the person's who made them, I will look into getting these people into the project and I hope I am able... if so it will put our number of videos at 11. -=-

-=- I also have a guy who is editting a Gundam video and will be done in the next week or so, if his video meets standards that will bring our twelth video in. -=-

-=- I plan to have 14 videos chosen and begun editting on by the end of next weekend. -=-

-=- Sign up for beta will begin after I have finished standard and heavy mode for the 14 songs, this will give me time to complete the light mode, couple mode, and/or double mode before I actually have all of the beta testers I will need -=-

-=- I will begin production on the site sometime next weekend, but wont seriously work on it until the weekend after that. -=-

Thats about all for now, hopefully before monday afternoon I will be done with the 5 videos I am working on now [standard + heavy]

Heh, i'm telling all my friends that still play SSM about this. Perhaps I could test out the project on my media center at school so we can see how it all looks on a pad.

Yeah... I personally have a couple editions of both of those songs...

Well, perhaps a bit after this project is completed I will start that one.. unless someone beats me to the punch, then I will just join it.

Two more videos have been added to the project

1. Break
| Song: The Kill | Artist: 30 Seconds To Mars | Anime: Naruto | Genre: Action |

2. Cartoon Heroes | Song: Cartoon Heroes | Artist: Aqua | Anime: Various | Genre: Dance/Comedy [various genre]

That puts us at a total of 9 officially entered videos, 1 more is a possibility... space is almost filled!

I'll give you more updates on Friday, until then be patient :D
