:blushes: THANK YOU!

Something like that might work out just like any MEP. E-mails exchanged etc.
Still, this is Duece's show.

Nice set up BTW. But I would suggest another position, for the names/ method for presenting songs. The mega blocking gets a little repetative (thus it's use in Graveyard) and with as many rounds as you are planning, it will get really annoying. Maybe some sort of animation added to bring it around. I know this is a rough and it's WMM2, so this might all be stuff you're changing anyway, but these are my thoughts so far.
And I thought nobody read these.

Well, my idea was to make some "multianime" thingy, like in AMV Hell 3, but something similar and I have a really good song for that. The name is "Dawn Over A New World" by Dragonforce. It's a really beautifull and catchy song. As soon as I get home, I will upload it and post it here, so deuceloosely could listen to it and tell me what he thinks.

Heh heh...don't leave too much up to me. I'm moderating and producing this project but I want you all to use your imaginations and keep bringing me quality stuff like you have been. I'm really enjoying all your entries so far.

Although I was quite a bit dismayed that NO ONE had any ideas for the last theme. I figured that would be an easy one since, as we all know, there are plenty of d**ks in anime, too. ;) Meh...whatev.

Maru-sha: next theme there are entries to be judged, you're the boss.

I have a r-e-a-l-l-y easy one for you this time. I'll post it tomorrow sometime.

Oh, and I have acquired full versions of Screenblast 3 and Vegas 6. I'll show you the fruits of my experiments this week. Until tomorrow,...beware of apples with razors and don't ever accept rocks in your goodie bags. :P

You got the bonus plan.

First, the next theme:

Jim Caroll Band - People Who Died

Lyrics

Teddy sniffing glue he was 12 years old
Fell from the roof on East Two-nine
Cathy was 11 when she pulled the plug
On 26 reds and a bottle of wine
Bobby got leukemia, 14 years old
He looked like 65 when he died
He was a friend of mine

Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
They were all my friends, and they died

G-berg and Georgie let their gimmicks go rotten
So they died of hepatitis in upper Manhattan
Sly in Vietnam took a bullet in the head
Bobby OD'd on Drano on the night that he was wed
They were two more friends of mine
Two more friends that died / I miss 'em--they died

repeat chorus

Mary took a dry dive from a hotel room
Bobby hung himself from a cell in the tombs
Judy jumped in front of a subway train
Eddie got slit in the jugular vein
And Eddie, I miss you more than all the others,
And I salute you brother / This song is for you my brother

repeat chorus

Herbie pushed Tony from the Boys' Club roof
Tony thought that his rage was just some goof
But Herbie sure gave Tony some bitchen proof
";Hey," Herbie said, "Tony, can you fly?";
But Tony couldn't fly . . . Tony died

repeat chorus

Brian got busted on a narco rap
He beat the rap by rattin' on some bikers
He said, hey, I know it's dangerous,
but it sure beats Riker's
But the next day he got offed
by the very same bikers

repeat chorus

repeat song through third chorus

================

Cakewalk, this is.

Okay, now on to something else. I kinda went nuts the other night with my new toys: Sony Screenblast Movie Studio 3.0 and Vegas 6.0, creating a new clip for the compilation (under the current theme) and replacing my production tag. Wanna see?

New production tag

Here May Be Spoilers (They All Died)

Happy viewing...now send me more stuff! ;)

Our Russian collaborator, DarkNesS, has been quite busy lately. She's becoming a valuable asset to this project.

Where is everyone else?

Just wondering because, yanno...

...been kind of quiet around here.

I haven't been on sooner because my fiancee' just gave birth to a 7lb7oz, 20.5" Elisia Rose the morning of November 7. Needless to say, I've been a bit busy. But I'm back and working on a few ideas.

But would anyone care to tell me where you all have been lately? The past three weeks or so have been less than active, although a few more clips have made their way to my inbox (thanks bunches).

To those who haven't sent anything after their production tag and intro clip, you need to let me know if you still want to be a part of this project. Sure, there are four months left, but I get worried about these things.

I'm gonna hold off on the themes for the moment, if that's okay with you all. At least until I can come up with something I really want to see you all interpret. ;)

Speak to me, kids...

*blushes with utter embarrassment*

Sorry I haven't said anything sooner, but several factors have made contributing rather difficult:

1) RL. I'm still trying to find a decent job, so that effort's eating up most of my free time.

2) Only having WMM. I know it's not the preferred editing program by far, but it's all that I can afford (b/c it came with my computer).

3) Particularly b/c of #2, I'm of the opinion that my few submissions haven't been that good. I don't want to waste everyone's time by submitting substandard material.

Despite all this, I would still love to participate. I have some funny ideas, too . . . but I doubt I could work on them or submit them any time soon.

If you have a problem with getting a software, I can gladly help (ask deuceloosely, he knows :P ).
Now, deuceloosely, I was watching the beta version of the TekkoshoCon edition for a while now, and I think it needs a few fixes.
First of all, the beginning should be changed, because the “My Swedish Friend” submission is already appearing in the "AMV hell CE", and I don't think that it's ok to stay with it. I would suggest something more original, something with a cool music, and not just one anime. I can try doing something like that and then show it to you. If you want to leave this one, that’s ok with me, I’m just giving ideas.
The other thing was the transitions between the clips. We need to come up with something better than just fadeout or non, to do something unusual and original. Since you have Vegas and the other software now, I bet you can think of something good.
And one last thing. In my both "scientific facts" submissions, be sure to remove the "Made by =DarKNesS=" thingy in the end, because my name would probably appear in the ending credits and my PT trailer, so it's not necessary there.
That's it. The TekkoshoCon edition looks great and the submissions are really good and funny so far. I wish good luck to everyone in this project!

=DarKNesS=:
I'll leave this in the open in case anyone else has concerns with the "beta" preview. As stated in the notes and in a previous post, that was in no way any kind of "final" edit since 1. it is incomplete, 2. it was created on WMM2 (meaning a WMV format, considered substandard for viewing on a projection screen), and 3. I just wanted to give you all an idea of what quality and variety of clips we have so far for the project.

Bottom line: don't panic. We will have a superior compilation in the end. ;)

RanMouri:
Your contributions are missed, so don't feel like you're wasting anyone's time. You're a vital part of this collaborative effort. Thanks for remaining on board.

...and =DarKNesS=, you know I want to see anything you have that you feel even remotely fits within this project, so send away...

Question! :P
What number is this TekkoshoCon Edition? 2,3,5? I can't really see it in the beta version because of the low quality. I really need the number for something that I'm working on right now. Even if there's no exact number, just give me one, this will look funny and random :D
