One Piece at a Time
Although I realise that the title of the topic is a Johnny Cash reference, this is not about him (as awsome as he was). This is about an idea I similar to the Strong Bad email "Rock Opera". My idea is to take one word from a whole bunch of different songs. Eventually, I'd like to make a story out of it. The second part of it, is to have a large amount of editors make various parts of the story, and then put them together to try and make it funny. I believe that if enough people are involved, it could be a big success. The title is unknown as of yet, but I am taking suggestion.
Anyone interested in this should express their interest here, please, as I'm not on the sight all that much. Although I am on MSN Messenger alot... try getting ahold of me there, but beware, I HAVE DIAL-UP! (Frightning, isn't it...?)

Definitely
Well, yes, that's basically what we'd do. Yes, it sounds that way, but I have (and embrace) my reputation among my friends as being crazy. I thought it sounded fun, but I don't want help from people who aren't interested. No one is forcing this on you, remember.

well you did peak my interest but frankly it isnt a good idea. first in order to even get one stanza you would need two dozen plus songs that even sound the same so when you take one word out of each song it doesnt sound completly and utterly terrible. the words might go together but the music wont.

So you're still confusing me, the point of the MEP is to make it sound like crap?
You might want to try and make an amv like this before attempting a MEP of it.

The point of doing it multieditor style is to A)Help me finish the damn thing, and B) Make it sound like one of those stories people tell around a campfire where various people add to the story before it's finished. I don't want to make a song, persay, put more like as story. I know if I do this myself, it WILL sound like crap, not be as cool, and it will NEVER get done!

I'm not implying that YOU don't get it, just what's his name up there. And I know it needs a lot of participation, that's why it's in the multieditor area. Although I COULD do this myself, i don't have NEARLY enough anime! I mostly just buy manga or video games when I have money. Why? Because My dad likes to make fun of whatever's on the TV. And it's cheaper, I never have enough money for stuff... I Do have the time to do this myself, though, 'cause summer vacation is here in a week!
