Actually no... Band has to be Christian... song should have some semblence of Christian faith/theme into it... clip itself does not necesarily need to be related to being a Christian... that's what's written on the description of this project as I see it.

One of the main points of this project is to showcase different Christian artists, so we're going to say no to using undeclared artists.

I'm looking forward to seeing the final project!
I've never heard of that band before and I can't seem to find anything about them on the internet... if possible, could you post the lyrics for that song so I can get an idea what it's about?
JenCM18 wrote:Question :: Do you want us to send an interlaced huffy file? or deinterlace it our selves and send it that way?

With the sailor moon stars footage I have I was thinking about filtering it myself. If I do should I still keep the resolution at 720*480?
You should deinterlace it yourself, yes. And make sure you use a deinterlacer that keeps the framerate at 29.97 fps (like FieldDeinterlace). You should also keep the resolution at 720x480.
Skylink wrote:I don't think that the "band" has to be Christian. As long as the song (or at least the CLIP you're using) has a Christian related theme to it, it should be fine.
Like Infinity Squared said, the band does actually have to be Christian.

Good song. 8-) Fullmetal Alchemist has already been picked twice though... once by me and once by Skylink. But you can ask Skylink if he's really attached to using FMA. He seemed undecided about whether he was using that or Scryed or both. I'm pretty sure I want to stick with FMA, though. So if Skylink still wants to use it, is it possible for you to use a different anime for your track?

Ok. Just bought the "Matrix Reloaded" Soundtrack and loaded it unto my computer. The song, "Sleeping Awake" (P.O.D.), is about 3 min and 23 secs total. How long of a segment do you want me to do or do you want me to do a whole video and send it to you on a cd to cut the best part yourself? Either way, I'm satisfied just to have my work in my "first" MEP :D .

Also. Lookin at the other posts, looks like this is goin to be a pretty good MEP - Sailor Moon, FMA, Evangelion (Me) and etc. I'm anxious see the final product!
New Advent Children video coming soon. Wait for it, please!

You should cut the audio first then just edit to that segment to make things easiest for yourself. Your video editing program will be able to edit audio, so you can do it right in your project file. Make it anywhere between 30 seconds and a minute in length. You should also be the one to choose which part of the music you use. Pick your favourite part of the song .

i'm thinking about to take a song from the band "Narnia".

Song: No Time to loose
Anime: NG Evangelion
Category: Serious
Time: ca. 1 minute

Narnia is one of the most famous White- ChristianMetal bands. (for those who don't know it  )

Here are the lyrics of the song: http://darklyrics.com/lyrics/narnia/thegreatfall.html#4
And a little soundsample: http://www.narniaworld.com/listen/notime.mp3
