What does diff. mean? Also this file is a huffy, so you'll need to convert it to something else or it'll play choppy (I though it would be best to send an uncompressed file because it would be better quality). I normally use Virtual Dub to convert it to DIVX.

going to try to encode this with xvid in vdub to get it to play smoother.

Divx or Xvid would be great if you can send the submissions in that format.

Other formats include wmv.avi. mpeg, ogm

Those are not an issue but if you can, stay away from ogm, lol.

Any idea how long the final project is intended to be? That is to say, is there a target or maximum length planned, or will it just end up being as long as it ends up?

Either way, I can probably get a clip or two in. All I've got is the old box set, but I can certainly cut around the jumps between each shot.

Well we intend on at least reaching up to 5 to 10 min. if we can. We hopefully intend on making it last for half an hour. But we'll be more than happy to take the smallest of time we can get our hands on.

Exactly right. Its not so much about how long it is but how great we can make it.

We're determined to make this a great multi-editor project that everyone can be proud of.
