Tonight ... just a head's up for everyone else:

I emailed Warheart my first progress report and sent a copy of what I've completed so far to give him an idea what direction I'm working on - basically it's a third of my track. Things are taking much longer than I originally planned because I'm using this project as "practice" for actually doing some editing in After Effects. Most everything is being done in AE with additional assembly in Premiere.

Tonight I went back and did some more tweaking and I really like how it's turning out ... really fast (and creepy!)

I'll try to finish up the next section this weekend and post another update early next week.

Oh, and welcome aboard, Flint.

Yeah, I already sent the beta to Flint and watched it a few times. I'll pm you when I come home from school since I have to get there in like 15 minutes from now. Good work.

Thanks, man. I watched your segment, and it had great flow. I loved those crossfades too.

I uploaded my first very rough beta. First ten seconds or so. I'm a little... unsure about the first part. I think it's too cluttered, too rough, something. I might end up redoing it entirely. There are a couple spots that need tweaking, too. Anyway, just PM me for it. This is basically two nights' work, but I'll probably do more tonight.

Oho, man am I loving this segment. Just got to the hard part, but I'm very happy with the first twenty seconds. Uploading second beta now. No extra work on the first part because it's growing on me, but already happy with the second part. I do want some feedback though, so just PM me for the link.

Hehe, ok you got my pm ;).

Hey, I nearly finished the outro. I have already made a beta and the only thing I need to add is the thanks to the people who dropped and the last 3 screens. It looks good so far altough I think about doing the audiomix and coordinator thingy the same way I did the editor listing meaning I'll use the same motion. As for the background after all the amv-extracts are trough I guess I'll go with the simple black screen. I'll upload it and pm you the link then you can get back to me with suggestions altough I think overall everythings ok as it is now.

Alright, I polished out the first 20 seconds, so I think that part is finalised. I'm waiting on the last DVD of the anime, but I just received my personal deadline, and I'm not sure I can afford to wait. Sorry, Warheart, but I may have to finish my segment without the end of the anime. I have to have everything finished by Friday night, because I leave Saturday morning. The latest I can get the DVD and make my deadline is Wednesday, but even that might be pushing it. If I get no verification as to when I'm getting the DVD by tomorrow, I'm going to start the second part tomorrow night. Hopefully then I can have a beta by Thursday night and a final product by Friday.

Hey, that's ok, as long as your satisfied with your result and had fun editing it's all I want ;). You can just finish it how you think it's ok even though you haven't got all the sources as long as you at least watch the last DVD afterwards. Btw. how do you think about submitting the final ?

Haha, sorry my spelling is a bit odd. I meant how do you think you'll supply me with the final without your PC. I mean are you going to use a friends Pc or send it to Iliea or so ?

Oh, well I'll finish the final while I'm still at home. So I'll just burn it to CD and borrow someone's cable connection to upload it.

Okay, not able to get that last DVD. Bummer. I edited another 8 seconds with what I have and it's looking decent. I'm uploading a beta, I'll PM it to you Warheart. Anyone else want to check it out, just request it. I'm running out of action to use, but I'll figure something out. Advice welcome. :P

Ok, I think I finalized the outro as far as possible the only thing that's missing now is the background from Rubyeyes and Flints part.

Okay, had a look at Flint's final. It's good the way it is, so once again a part is finished. We are approaching the deadline. It is a bit more than a day until we will have the project finished. Thank you all, it was a pleasure for me to work with you. I hope we will be able to do an encore some day.
