Actually it's the same issue I had at the beginning of january. So it happens that my PC just shuts down and won't start up again and than after a few hours he just starts up and everythings fine but it can happen that I won't be able to use my PC for a day or so after the problem occured again. So I'm not out of business but you souldn't rely on me to much so if you need something or have a question it's saver to ask Tormentor.

I hope it'll be gone like it was last time after a week passed. So I can work on my contest video and the final mix.

Lol, are you sure the outlet you're plugging into isn't haywire?

Could (and hopefully) just be a simple faulty psu (power supply unit), should get it checked, then again who am I to talk :P
I hate my comp, the most updated beta I have isnt quite what I would want it to be, however from an unwanted wipe and faulty mthboard I've lost the new edit I was working on... so I dont know what to do at the moment, I really just dont know..

I had a similar problem with my computer before. Couldn't put my finger on the problem.. Then I figured it out as being a heat/ventilation issue. No problems since.

sounds like you have a fan that's starting to die, you figure out which fan is dying, or you can just do what I do and open up your case and have a table fan blow into your computer.

Thanks for the suggestion guys but I already checked those issues and I also let some pros check my PC even they weren't able to find anything. I guess I'll just hope he'll be working untill I get a new one .

Back to topic. Cer say you told Tormentor about a new version on angelfire but you didn't give the link, so I guess after you did so we'll check if it's good and if that's not the case you should decide if you're trying to work on it again or if you drop.

---

Ok, Tormentor hooked me up with the link. I'm sorry to say this but the beta contains a cetain amount of timingissues and the quality is far below an acceptable level. I guess I couldn't save much even with filtering it. I talked to Tormentor about that desicion but if you're not able to deliver something better in cases of timing and quality, no matter what circumstances might have let to those obstacles in editing, we'll need to search for someone else. I really appreciate your eager and will but it seems like that you're not able to edit like you want to while suffering under this technical problems. So do you want to try to work it over once again or you think you'd better drop the project, it's up to you in the end.

Okay, how is everybody doing? Are there news about you Cer? Rubyeye, one little question. Do you have something like a beta in order to give the others an impression how it will look?

Okay, continue the work, so that we can prevent another extension. Keep it up guys!

Just a quick update:
We're having some really bad weather here in North Texas which has caused a couple days of power outages. So, in order to get this thing finished on time I need to stay away from the internet these next few days. When I'm done and "satisfied" with what I've made I'll contact Warheart (or whomever, if his computer goes kaupt again) and upload a copy. If he wants to share it with the rest of you for input before finalizing it, that's up to him. I can always go back and tweak anything. But to answer your question - sorry, no beta at this point until I finish...then we'll go from there.

Hm .. ok at least we know what's up now . Altought I'd at least like to know how far you are in your timeline.

Another thing, since Cer hasn't contacted me about his part yet I wrote him a pm. And I guess if he does not come back to me by tomorrow I'll replace him. Currently Shivan would again take over the track but since he said he'd take over in case that I'm unable to find someone else first, I'll ask Flint and Bote again (since both showed interest in the project earlier) and Flint dropped out due to shortage on anime which is solved now.

Ok well I havent had my comp for about a week, just got it back now and I really dont know whats going to happen from here on out, it might be better to get someone else, since the new beta isnt acceptable, I really dont know what to do anymore, I am sorry about this but it was out of my hands, enough excuses if you want to drop me I understand, good luck with the project.

Edit: Forgot to add this so everyone else knows, Lost the hdd, lost the new beta so I cannot add edit the new beta at all.. main reason why the fan is chewing up some shit.

Ok, I talked with Cer via aim. I'm looking for a new editor atm so I wrote several pms if no one's interested Shivan will take over.

I asked Flint and he's now in charge of segment D. So we have another legend on board again. :D

Hey, don't make me feel bad about my decision. Like I said, If I set up another MEP ("Death Awaits") and you have a working computer you'll get a segment for sure.

Not so much hype, please.

My goal is to have a beta by Saturday, so if nothing goes wrong, I will.
