FTP - Long story short my internet connection isn't good enough to run a stable ftp server to upload videos too. So it would be increasingly difficult for people to get me their videos.

Final project authoring - The only authoring experience I have is with my own videos so I can't same I'm capable of authoring the final thing for use.

If somebody can help me with those two elements then I think this project can still hold life.

I would help if there was 2 of me to handle this and VG4. :?

I checked with my fellow CDVV members, and Ileia as given permission to make use of our group's FTP for people to upload their clips to. I don't have the info right now because she has to make a seperate account for the purposes of this MEP, but it's cleared for our use.
As for the final compilation and compression... we'll settle that when the time comes. It'll all work out have faith ;P

I guess now all that's left is figuring out what to encode as so as not to use up a lot of HD space and Bandwidth while still having good quality.

Once that's figured out, I'll re-export mine to get it in.

It might be more productive to contact Ileia, since she's the one running the server.

To be on the safe side, maybe everyone should just get the FTP info for Ileia and upload it there. That way it's all together.

So... Deadlines? It might be beneficial to create a new forum topic for this MEP with updated guidelines for submission, encoding and due dates.
