the 1st of December date is just for POC (Proof of Concept) videos, which are just 5-10 seconds vids to show that you are actually working on the video.

If we can get this thing done before Sept 2006, maybe I can talk to AWA about a showing. Considering not many projects have plans to show there.

A couple of things to cover in this post:

1. Brsrk has been removed from the project. I was hoping to avoid this, but as s/he hasn't made contact since the beginning of the project, and has been ignoring my PMs and Emails i've been forced to remove him/her from the project to allow this slot for anyone else who may want it.
2. supersayian313 i got your beta for your video. I liked the video itself but i have a few nitpicks. With your footage (i'm assuming its a DVD rip), would you be able to crop off the black bars on the sides of your 4:3 footage (from the series), and crop the border off of the 16:9 footage (from the movies)? And also, if this isn't too much to ask, would you be able to crop the series footage to widescreen in the same ratio as the movie so it's less noticeable when you cross footages? These aren't demands, these are just suggestions mind you. I think cropping the borders is necessary, but cropping the 4:3 to 16:9 isn't an immediate factor, so you can leave it if you wish. Your track, your choice ^_^
3. Our Production Team (DZX Productions) is soon launching our new .com website. A subsection of the site (and of it's webspace) has been devoted to "The Doom Project". This will be a place where i could probably arrange for the final videos to be uploaded, and perhaps the POC's and Betas as well.
4. As the POC deadline is approaching i thought i'd list the email adress that you may want to use if you email me your POC video (as it's only 5-10 seconds it shouldn't be anymore than 10 megs):

We are currently in need of ~3 more editors. Check the first post for more information.

the Doom Project web page is up. We are currently leaching off of my production team's .com webspace. Here's the link:

http://www.dzxproductions.com/doomproject/index.html

Some small changes/updates need to be made to the information, but apart from that everything we will need in the future is there (ie: a place where i can have you upload the beta's, and for other members to view the betas)

Special thanks to Sqiky Kleen for designing the site for me.

The website looks great ^.^ Only thing I would change, on the "Authors" page where you have the links to the creators own websites, they should open in a new window instead of the same frame . . .

That's just my own opinion ^^;; Which doesn't count for much.

I better get to work on my track O.o

i've messaged Sqiky to see if that can be changed.

All thanks for this project site goes to Sqiky Kleen for an excellent design.

Prodigi, is it ok if we mix the track rather than cut it at a certain point? and if so do you have a HQ wav for that?

sorry Craktsmurf. You can shorten the tracks by taking away from the end, or maybe take a segment out of the middle to shorten it, but you can't mix the song. I want to keep the songs as close to their original state as possible as not to insult the artists who mixed them in the first place, as they are all interested in this project also, and want to see the finished video.
