depends on how you see the track. Besides you could end up doing both and i'd chuck the censored version in the Con mix, and then the uncut into the org upload.

My anime is quite gory aswell, well you'll see in my beta but i shoved in all the severed heads on pikes and blood everywhere etc. you'll have to tell me if it needs changing when you see it.

I was reading some earlier posts in this thread and decided to comment on this..

From my project experience, I would recommend having the 15 frames of black at the start and end of the videos since this isn't a nonstop project like DDR. It's very unoticable and helps greatly if certain tracks end abrupt. I assume most people will fade out their tracks anyways so the 15 frames will still be unoticable.

Hopefully people don't get confused with 15 frames and 15 seconds of black footage like in the NES project :P

welll what i was going to do is make sure that every editor (even the ones who edited their song length down) kept the original beginning and end of the song, and the short bits of silence that entail. That way it would still flow the same. But if you think we're better off that way then ok, 15 frames of black at the beginning and end it is.

EXCEPT of course for "Hangarmaggedon" which flows directly in from the "Welcome to Hell" track.

Is this going to be something the editor takes care of, and, if so, do we place the final product 15 frames ahead, or just the video?

A bit off topic, but in my spare time I made a couple banners for The Doom Project.

Many thanks to Alucard of Hellsing for being such an awesome background for banner 3. Feel free to use in your AMVorg signatures and such ^.^

just add an extra 15 frames of silence/black before you start your video.

The third one is nice, though I rather like the first myself.

Because I know I won't have any time or the memory to remember to do this tomrorrow. As Dec. 1st is the Proof of Concept date for the Doom tracks, I figured I could post a link for my progress. It's a MegaUpload link, should work for most of you. Let me know if it don't

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0QNMUGRY

I'm using The Vision of Escaflowne movie for my track, and there are a couple of things I need to point out first:

A) The video is in MPEG-1 format, so quality sucks. Don't worry, it's cleaned up DVD footage so the final product will look better.

B) The video is stretched vertically. I'll fix that once the whole track is done.

C) Lots of black at the beginning. I'm only getting the basic idea for the track down, lots more will be added. Unless we all like how it looks.

D) The credits at the beginning, I've resized the text so it's not as huge as the screenshot from my last post.

I basically want the video to focus on the fights between Van and Dilandau, but that won't be the videos main theme. I always like constructive criticism, but seeing as how the track is only 40 seconds of a 3 minute video and not yet completed, I won't ask =P Just posting my POC video for Prodigi by the deadline and I'll get back to work on the final video.
