Tried to upload another section (15 mb) and got the following message:

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<god.ninth@gmail.com>
(reason: 552 5.2.3 sorry, that message size exceeds the maximum k23si442945rnb)

Is the mailbox full or did the server on my end choke?

incoming/outgoing messages can be a 10mb maximum to gmail. Try rar'ing it, or uploading it somewhere like uploadit.com

Hopefully it'll work with yousendit. I forgot to add the clip info though:

Artist: Sacha Baron Cohen

I have no plans in participating in this...
Anime Music Videos about such a tragedy isn't my cup of tea.
However if anyone needs a song or simple inspiration this could help:
Artist's web page, scroll down to "KATRINA: A WEEK TO REMEMBER".
To download the video.

This artist is excellent and his montage truly touches hearts.

kitsunebeolnet - The yousendit link worked fine, I'm grabbing it now. Just thought you'd like to know. If ever need be I can also put up a FTP server on my computer and files could be transfered that way but my cable modem seems to like to go down on me as much as my wife hates to. So yousendit is probably the most reliable way. Sorry I forgot the 10 mb limit on gmail, I actually thought it was 100 meg but guess I was wrong.

Kajino Rei - If you think this project is ANYTHING like what you linked to I'm afraid you've seriously misunderstood what we're doing.

Oh, I do. Saw Sammy's video, that's why this isn't my cup of tea.
But irony between the tragic sitiation, weird anime and soulful songs is good.
*Shrugs* Opposites attract after all; a thought.

You do know how funny it would be, if you take an emotional song and screw it up so bad it's funny.

You, sir, are going to hell.

Probably somewhere in the 9th circle, in the section labled "comic geinuses."

The original Urotsukudoji OVA series has one episode where Suikakyujyu summons this huge water elemental thing to destroy the city. Pretty good scene for this project...too bad I don't own it. :(

Scorpions & Berlin Philharmonic - Hurricane 2000 (Rockin' Like a Hurricane)

If I have time this week (ha ha ha ha) I'll try to make something, though this is shaping up to be a pretty crappy week.

Currently there are three completed bits totaling maybe 40 seconds combined (two from kitsunebeolnet and one from me). I have a couple more things I'll be doing but the total time would still be less than a minute and a half.

Ok, maybe a short deadline wasn't a good idea so I'm dropping the deadline entirely. The project will be finished whenever I have enough to not cause a 'That's all???' reaction when watching it. Once I hit that point I'll post a new deadline to give people a few days to finish up anything they may be working on. I'd like this to be done in the near future just to keep from being as out of date as a Bob Dole for president joke. If I don't have enough material within a month or so I'll probably cancel the project.

So all you people giving such great song/anime ideas feel free to do them without having to worry about meeting an artificial deadline
