Project KuT-up DVD Torrent

Postby BigDude » Sat Jul 23, 2005 3:33 pm

If you haven't seen this project, well... here's a link: LINK

Anyway, to the DVD. I've been wanting to make one up for a good while now, and since I now have a DVD burner, I can make one. The problem I've come across is I don't have the cash to pay for such things as lables, covers, cases, and ink for all this stuff to make it fancy, nor to pay for shipping charges to editors of the project and who ever might like one.

So, after experimenting with DVD's the past couple weeks I believe I have come up with a possible no-cost way of distributing the DVD. This would be done by ripping the .ISO DVD image of the project DVD I have created, then putting it up on BitTorrent and distribute that way. Then when you have downloaded this image file, simply burn it to a DVD your self, and tada, you have your very own copy of the Project KuT-up DVD. This way there is not much discrimination to who can have one and who can't.

Problems I see with this is the fact that not everyone has/has access to a DVD burner or can use BT, in that case there's not much I can do. And finding a place to host such a file would be slightly hard to come by. I also do not know how to go about setting up a tracker.

So, at this point I'm asking if there is any intrest in this and if there is anyone who might be willing to help me get this set up.

Comments?

Will the songs be uncensored? I hated the censorship.

The ISO file its self comes to 4.11GB.

The project video will still have the censored audio, but I have put the full length uncencsored songs as extras.

It wasnt terrible, it wasnt the best but it had its moments just like any other project. Besides your opinion is its a waste, mine is it isnt. I don't still don't understand what you're getting at...

So you didn't like it, doesn't mean it was terrible. Don't download if you dont want it, less of my bandwidth I'll have to share.

Anyway, a rundown on what the dvd has:
-Play All feature which will play entire project, with chapters.
-Scene selection for project.
Extras include:
-Unedtied tracks (tracks without transions, because some lost the begining/ending few seconds).
-SQ's Dropped Track that never made it into the project.
-'Right Now' Mirror Mix music video used in end credits.
-Full length, uncencored songs used in the project (with spiffy waveform visualization).

I have also fixed aspec ratio problems whith the tracks.

Umm... he was saying that he wasn't going to spend money on the DVD because he lived out of the country when there wasn't going to be any sort of shipping of the DVD, but instead you'd have to download the file using bittorent and create your own DVD. Duh....? I'd think you'd have realized this.. :|

Well, to be quite honest, this wasn't exactly the most memorable MEP.

My first little segment was in this project. It was really my first video, but I don't call it that because it's so short.
