This forum is for the announcement, organisation and discussion of Multi-Editor AMV Projects.

Alright, I'm a little unsure if everyone is still participating in this project. I'm thinking of actually letting it go. Please post here or get in contact with me somehow to tell me if your still working and show me some kinda beta here, heh. If I don't get any sort of response soon enough from everyone, I may have to kill this project. I'm hoping I don't have to do this.

I'm still planning on doing mine, as soon as I get my new PC done. I dunno about the rest of us though. I suggest maybe trying to find replacements for those that don't respond before actually killing it all together, since a few peeps have already completed videos for it.

I was done a while ago, but since we now have till April I may decide to revise some things. But essentially I'm finished.

Once I get my laptop back and finish a couple urgent projects I'll be able to work on my segment...

Yah, it'd be a shame to see this project go to waste. I'm sure that many of the members are just busy at the moment. (I sure am; it's a good thing that I finished a while ago.) Canceling everything now would seem rather impatient, as the project hasn't even been running for that long. In comparison, Instrumentality: Animasia has been in the making for over ten months. While we've had a pretty active group, not all of those months were filled to the brim with progress. There were a few lulls, but now we are THIS close to completion. So I urge that we don't toss in the towel unless a majority of the members drop out for certain and we can't find replacements.

themaan: do you have an mp3 of the complete audio? I'm curious as to how the entire project will sound like.

TheUnlimited: if I knew what your audio sounded like, I may be able to give you some suggestions...

I'm not tossing the project, don't worry. I was just a little skeptical because I hadn't heard much from the editors. I'm glad you guys are still excited about it. Don't worry, it's very much alive.

Ahh... bumping is fun.
Alright peeps, 10 days left before the deadline! Why have I not heard anything, not even anything from themaan!? :x I'll go into fits of chronic foaming of the mouth if this project dies.

Yes, bumping is fun, isn't it. (I can read small, yaay!)

Anyway, the reason you haven't heard anything is because nothings happening, lol! People are just in their seperate corners editing (or not editing :) ). This is one of the reasons I was thinking of pulling the plug earlier on, is because no ones really...participating. Whatever, there's 10 days, and then their should start to be some activity.

One of the things holding me back is... My new PC is still not complete due to various delays in getting parts. ... Suddenly athlon 64 MBs are in high demand and short supply when i want one O_o, anyway, second and most major reason is i'm too lazy to find a way to clear away the nessesary space on my old PC tp work on it there. And I'm just being lazy, did I mention that? ;p I could get my segment done in a few days on my new PC... if that PCI-E Video card will hurry up and come... the last peice left for me to power this thing up.

I already see this turning into another instrumentality..... ^_-

I guess I shouldn't talk since I havn't even started yet, but I will as soon as my vid card (thats already ordered) gets here and I can edit away on my 160 gig sata and 3000+ AMD64 ;p

Lets not let this project die without a fight.

Cool, just remember that if you're using progressive footage in Premiere 6.x, you've gotta stop Premiere from automatically deinterlacing the video when speed is less than 100%. To do this, right click on a clip that has been slowed down. Go to "video options" --> "field options" and uncheck the box at the bottom that says "Deinterlace when speed is below 100%." Unfortunately, you have to do this for evey clip that you slow down.

Just giving a heads-up because I couldn't figure out why Premiere sucks at slowing stuff down until recently. And now, seeing this mess-up on my old videos makes me very :?.
